Trump and the Importance of Who We Are

It is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you will not be imperiled in a hundred battles; if you do not know your enemies but do know yourself, you will win one and lose one; if you do not know your enemies nor yourself, you will be imperiled in every single battle. --Sun Tzu, (circa 544-496 BC), "The Art of War"

Lynch Preaching the Gospel of Spineless Suicidal Stupidity

Let's get something straight right off the bat: being a rug-mat is not compassionate, nor is it loving, and it is most certainly not wise. On the contrary, it is delusional irresponsibility of the most asinine sort. It harms both the rug-mat and whoever is wiping their feet on them. You do no one any favors when you encourage a fool in their folly, or more to the point, when you give carte blanche to murderous jihadists.

A Short History of Islam

Question: What do all the following statements have in common? Charles "The Hammer" Martel defeated the Moors as they advanced toward Paris in 732 AD.

Thank God for Conservative Women

At the outset let me say that in my opinion liberals have come up with any number of good ideas in the past, and I like to give credit where it's due--but it should also be noted that liberals are notorious for running good ideas into the ground.

Trump Versus the Politically Correct Road to Hell

The United States is on the road to hell, no doubt. "We the people" have been traveling on it for decades--for the most part asleep at the wheel and cleverly lulled into a false sense of security.

Trump is Not Pure as the Driven Snow, and Guess What? I Don't Care!

Recently a number of nominal "conservatives" have come out en masse against the Republican candidate Donald Trump. Some of them are "big guns," "heavy hitters." Okay...good, that's good. Best to clear the air so that we know who is licking the collective butt of the arrogant elites, and who is in truth supporting "we the people."

Trump: A New Sheriff in Town

During Obama's early presidency, Katy Abram told the late Senator Arlen Specter, "You have awakened a sleeping giant." The "giant" took its own sweet time coming fully awake, but now it is alert and pumped up...and boy is it p--sed!

‘Telefon’ in Kalamazoo?

When I first heard on the news that the Kalamazoo shooter started acting bizarrely after receiving a phone call, the first thought that popped into my head was “OMG, that’s just like that movie ‘Telefon’– in which brainwashed sleeper agents were programmed to commit mayhem after hearing a code phrase over a phone.

Trump and Cruz: What is a Conservative?

To hear some conservative elitists tell it you would think that to be considered a true conservative you need a special handshake, secret decoder ring, and a notarized certificate stating your conservative bona fides in triplicate. The truth is much simpler.

Trump's Not a Conservative Icon, and I Don't Care!

A number of elitist conservative pundits and politicians have pointed out, quite correctly, that Donald Trump is no conservative ideologue (nor is he a progressive ideologue, socialist ideologue, or "whatever" ideologue). Trump is a phenomenally successful businessman, a clear-eyed pragmatist and patriot who desires what works for "we the people" and the United States of America. And how long has it been since America has had a leader like that? Too long, much too long.

Beyond Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Cruising the “Drudge Report” yesterday, I noticed the photo of a forlorn looking bear peering out from behind bars with the accompanying headline “The World’s Saddest Zoo,” which linked to an article by Allan Hall in the UK’s “Daily Mail.”

Obama’s Speech Tonight

Like many of you I am waiting on tenterhooks to hear what Obama has to say to the nation tonight. I imagine it will be something along the lines of: “Reports of workplace violence in California have come to my attention (like you, I read about it in the papers), so I am asking all patriotic citizens to watch your carbon footprint and turn in your guns. God bless America” -- oooh I can’t wait.

The Clueless Arrogance of the Spiritually Stunted

“Better to rule in hell than serve in heaven” is the feral ego’s motto, guideline, and rallying cry. The idea of subservience to God is, has been, and always will be anathema to the narcissist and conceited. Only those willing to submit to God’s ineffable and infinite grandeur open themselves to the blessing of divine union. It can be no other way.

The Religion of Peace: Another Big Lie

The terrorist attacks in Paris on November 13, 2015 give us what is called "a teachable moment." That is, an opportunity to elucidate, clarify, strengthen and deepen our understanding of something (in this case radical Islam) with minds that are (at least temporarily) more open to new ideas than is the norm.

Right Wing Nazis: The Big Lie

Traditionally the political spectrum in the United States runs from Big Government on the left side of the spectrum to no government at all (anarchy) on the extreme right of the spectrum. This is not rocket-science folks: Big Government on the left; limited or no government on the right – capiche?
