The Awakened Giant Likes Tea

It’s often said, “Be careful what you wish for – you just might get it.” Democrats got it, alright.

Liberalism is Terminally Ill

It’s been a pitiful sight – a sad week for progressives and “Big Union” Democrat-shilling thugs. In the wake of Tuesday night’s devastating recall smackdown in Wisconsin, tens of thousands of “Occupy” hippies across the nation have simply been too depressed to get stoned and not look for work.

Christians should vote for Romney

It's no secret that I have been and remain a vocal critic of Mitt Romney. To say that his conservative bona fides are suspect is an understatement. I have tremendous respect for a number of fellow evangelical Christians who say that they will not support his presidential candidacy. I expect I will anger some of them, and may even lose a few friends. Still, in November, I am voting for Mr. Romney and suggest that any Christian - Republican, Democrat or independent - should do the same.

Dan Savage: ‘Tolerant’ Bully

They used to arrest middle-aged perverts who get their jollies from talking dirty to children. Today, they get a television show, a nationally syndicated column, a lecture circuit and multiple visits to the Obama White House.

Limbaugh and the, um, Lady

Saul Alinsky is alive and well in the political maneuverings of the secular left. The problem is; we all have the play book now.

Obama’s Anti-Religious Implosion

Barack Obama may have just lost the election. He has foolishly gone to war in an election year with tens of millions of Catholics, Protestants and Jews – Democrat, Republican and independent alike. He has thrown down a radical feminist gauntlet and dared the Church to pick it up.

The Drudge Distort

You're being manipulated. A well respected, highly influential news source has cast aside all journalistic integrity to shill for the liberal, GOP establishment candidate in this presidential race.

Fearing Newt Gingrich

What do establishment Republicans and liberal Democrats have in common? They’ve long labored under a shared misconception: conservative candidates are unelectable.

Hating Tim Tebow

I grew up in Denver and am admittedly biased. I’m a Denver Broncos fanatic. In the Mile High City, the Broncos are more than just a football team; they’re an institution.

The folly of God-denial

As the political season heats up it occurs to me that, as important as elections are, unless the hearts of men are changed, the heart of a nation cannot awaken. Our nation is experiencing heart failure. It needs an awakening – a spiritual awakening. Desperately.

Ron Paul is dangerous

After the most recent GOP presidential debate, reasonable people can disagree as to who came out on top. It was abundantly clear, however, who was smothered beneath the pile.

Liberal violence rising

While necessity is the mother of invention, sloth and envy beget mediocrity and upheaval--the twin siblings of secular-socialism. It is in this vein that a rebellious and increasingly violent spirit of incoherent anarchy continues to fester in urban centers across the nation. This is most evident in the form of the envy-driven "Occupy wherever" nonsense embraced by the "progressive" establishment.

Onward, Christian Soldiers

Liberals are nervous. They should be. As the 2012 election grows closer a soft rumble builds throughout thousands of Evangelical Christian churches across America. Pastors and churchgoers alike are waking up to the disturbing reality that we as a nation have strayed drastically from our historical Judeo-Christian moorings.

The Dominionist Manifesto

There has been great gnashing of teeth in “progressive” circles of late over “Christian Dominionist Theology.” MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow has warned that much of the Republican presidential field embraces this startling, seditious sect of extreme fundamentalism. She’s breathlessly warned that Christian Dominionists “believe they have a direct line to God” and intend to “clear the way for the [end of the world]…by infiltrating and taking over government.”

Sexual Anarchy

In "Batman," the Joker rhetorically asks a young Bruce Wayne: "Tell me, kid--you ever danced with the devil by the pale moonlight?" Well, I have. Not by the pale moonlight, but in a brightly lit Four Points Sheraton in Baltimore, Md.

Doug Giles’ ‘Righteous and Rowdy’ Delivers

Dads, when you let the National Education Association, Hollywood and the cast from Glee raise your daughters, you shouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be self-absorbed, painted little Paris Hilton wannabes. As Doug Giles, columnist and host of the nationally syndicated Clash Radio program puts it: "Fathers, don't let your babies grow up to be Snookie!"

Energy independence, jobs within reach

Fuel prices got you down? Need a job? Well, prepare to unlearn everything you've learned about domestic energy production. Don't ever let another green "warmer" tell you, "We can't drill our way out of this mess." That's a lie.

Conservative – The new cool

We all want progress, but if you're on the wrong road, progress means doing an about-turn and walking back to the right road; in that case, the man who turns back soonest is the most progressive. – C.S. Lewis Comedian Jim Wiegand - aka “Jim Wiggins, the last hippie in America” - is a throwback to a bygone era. The hilarious 70-year-old wisecracker is known for, among other things, a quite liberal worldview. He’s also known for raising Joe Wiegand, his rebellious, good-for-nothing son. Apart from sharing both a sharp sense of humor and mutual love and admiration, father and son see eye to eye on little else.

Pulling the plug on Obamacare

Obamacare is like turnip greens: bitter and hard to swallow, but Mommy made you choke them down anyway. The difference is that turnip greens are constitutional (though perhaps they shouldn’t be). They’re also likely to extend your life rather than cut it short.
