Remembrance to Vigilance Have We Forgotten Too Much?

By Scott W. Winchell, SVP; Gerard Group International, Inc. This morning, a very clear, bright, cloudless morning, not unlike that fateful day in 2001 when our lives were changed forever, I am especially sad. Though it has no bearing on others, one point does make it that much worse, and I share this with many, many thousands world-wide, for today is my birthday.

Some Would Rather Not Remember September 11th

The events that occurred seven years ago that resulted in the deaths of nearly 3,000 innocent civilians were so calamitous and beyond our previous collective experience that we would be inhuman if we did not commemorate them.

Dangerous human-caused warming can neither be demonstrated nor measured

There is no evidence, neither empirical nor theoretical, that carbon dioxide emissions from industrial and other human activities can have any effect on global climate. In addition, the claims so often made that there is a consensus among climate scientists that global warming is the result of increased man-made emissions of CO2, has no basis in fact.

In stunning slip on national TV, Obama refers to “my muslim faith”

imageBy Israel Insider staff September 7, 2008 In one of the most astonishing gaffes in American political history, in a national televised interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulus, Democratic presidential candidate Barack Hussein Obama referred to "my muslim faith," confirming what researchers and political opponents have been claiming. While Stephanopoulus several seconds later tried to correct him, saying "Christian faith," it was too late. The damage was done. Obama clearly did not mean his Christian faith, since he was admitting that "John McCain has not talked about my Muslim faith." The term "Christian faith" would not make sense in that context.
