References to pigs were banned in China's television advertising in 2007, the official Year of the Pig, to prevent offending the Muslim population. In Taiwan citizens were put on notice about using ‘pig' postage stamps for mailings to Muslim countries or recipients.

PACE has proposed a draft resolution on the problem of the abandonment of children, particularly newborns, in Europe. But as with most discussions of the problems facing mothers, the resolution quickly reveals the strong pro-abortion mindset of its drafters, who call on member states to push for greater liberalisation of abortion restrictions.

As the Canada Day long weekend nears, homeowners and cottagers are being reminded they can reduce the heavy environmental price tag that comes from burning real wood by selecting composite fire logs for their summer sanctuaries. The new Patio Logg with Citronella, being held, burns for as long as about 15 pounds of real wood. The innovative green conscious product also burns significantly cleaner than wood, cutting particulate matter by 76 per cent, creosote by 66 per cent and ash residue by 86 per cent. It also cuts carbon monoxide emissions by more than 7 times compared to real wood.

Killing the Canadian in the Canadian

Egypt Deports Eritrean Refuges-Some to Their Death
