Time Enough for Collapse

At a meeting of patriots I attended, where the attendees were the kind of people who desire to either reclaim the republic, or survive the coming collapse if (or maybe we should say "when") it happens, after I explained the importance of the United States returning to being a godly nation, and educating the country about the original intent of the United States Constitution in order for us to have the opportunity to reclaim the republic, a person raised his hand and said (I'm paraphrasing here), "There's not enough time to educate people.

Time To Unite Behind Trump

Is Donald Trump the perfect Republican Candidate? Absolutely not. Is he a Republican in the first place? I think he might be, but overall he's a wild card. Is Donald Trump a better candidate than the other GOP candidates he beat? In some cases, but not in all of them. Is Donald Trump a better candidate for President of the United States than Hillary Clinton? You bet your bottom dollar he is.

Holocaust Remembrance

May 1 is known by some as May Day. A communist, anti-God celebration of the death of freedom and the rise of the tyranny of socialism. On May 1, 2016, however, the day also served as Holocaust Remembrance Day.

Islamic Nations Within Nations

The first two international wars fought by the United States after our founding were the Barbary Wars. Through the Washington and Adams administrations the United States paid tributes to the Muslim Barbary States in the hope of keeping our passage across the Atlantic, and more specifically in the Mediterranean, safe from from attacks by Islamic ships.

Heinlein and the Tree of Liberty

In addition to being a political junkie, and advocate for the original intent of the United States Constitution, I am a science fiction fan. Among the reasons for me being a science fiction fan is that in SciFi, especially when it comes to the biggest writers of that genre, the opportunity exists to apply various political concepts to a myriad of unknown societies. Often, the political leanings of the author corrupts the reactions the characters have to those political systems, but often a nugget of truth emerges that even the writer may not expect.

BLM Tyranny

According to Article I, Section 8, aside from adding territory as spoils from war, the only way the federal government can own property is if they "purchase" it with the "consent" of the State legislature for the purpose of "needful buildings." Much of the land west of the Mississippi River owned by the federal government was not obtained in either manner. As a result, the Bureau of Land Management unconstitutionally regulates/manages (or should I say "mismanages") a massive portion of the United States.

Trump Majority

The historical run for president by billionaire Donald Trump has been filled with potholes, pitfalls, and protests. With many voters, there is little middle ground with the guy. Either you love him, or you hate him. . . well, hate his decision to try to become President of the United States, anyway. He's being called "nationalist" and "populist" by the media, but an "establishment killer" by his supporters.

Animals of the Liberal Left

In my article, Chicago Protests Not About Trump, I refer to the liberal left Alinsky agitators as "animals." That's what they seemed like to me - animals who have tossed aside their humanity to demand what they think they want, regardless of any level of human reasoning.

Chicago Protests Not About Trump

Professional Protesters have arrived in Chicago, and scored a win for their efforts to silence opposition to liberal left politics because they believe their freedom of speech is more important than anyone else's, and all others must be silenced.

Oregon Officials Call LaVoy Finicum Death "Disturbing"

New video from the Oregonian, Oregon's largest newspaper, provides a dual view of the murder of LaVoy Finicum by federal agents and Oregon State Police. At no point did Mr. Finicum, or the passengers in his vehicle, pose a threat to the law enforcement officials who gunned down Finicum, and shot up the vehicle full of innocent and defenseless passengers.

Iranian Seizure of American Sailors: The Message

Shortly after President Obama, and other global appeasers, struck a deal with Iran over their nuclear ambitions, and literally hours before Obama's State of the Union Speech, ten American U.S. Navy military personnel were taken hostage by the Iranians. The sailors were held on Iran's Farsi Island, and then released after Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry slobbered all over themselves in apologies for the Americans daring to venture into Iranian waters as a result of a mechanical failure.

Police State: No to Protection, Yes to Suppression

The United States Supreme Court has ruled a number of times that law enforcement cannot protect you. They are there to take a report after a crime is committed. Reality suggests that the police are unable to protect you without compromising your freedom as an individual. To "anticipate" crime and arrest based on a condition of anticipation, before any crime is actually committed, would be to dwell in the realm of Orwellian government where thought crime reigns. Nonetheless, pre-crime suppression has been trying to rear its ugly head, through crime assessment technology, and hate-speech laws. The reality is that when seconds count, the police are only minutes away. While government seeks to disarm the public, they are also trying to change the minutes into seconds, by intruding into the details of our lives.

Militia in Oregon: Constitutionally Right

The issue in Oregon, where an armed militia is standing up to the federal government, as they did at the Bundy Ranch in Nevada, isn't as much about ranchers burning a fire line on the edge of their property to protect their own property (and it getting away from them and burning into "federal land"), whether or not the Hammond family even wants the "armed militia" there in their town, or that the "armed" militia is willing to occupy a ranch on the edge of federal space in the first place.

Armed and Safe: Confirming the 2nd Amendment

A few years ago, during a Murrieta City Council Meeting, a woman, while testifying against the city's desire to change its ordinance with the intent of attracting an indoor gun range, said, "We don't want a shooting range in our city. It will attract people who own guns, and we don't want that kind of criminal element in our city."

Obama, Immigration, and the Courts

Among the trademarks of the presidency of Barack Obama is his willingness to ignore the rule of law, and trample upon the dynamics of the American System. He is a dictator that is more than willing to go on his own to make sure his will be done. The Constitution is a mere obstacle to Mr. Obama, rather than the law of the land. He understands the Constitution, but he does not like it, so he circumvents the founding document at every opportunity.

Lawless Government

As the Democrats scramble to protect their narrative and agenda, partly by blaming the Islamic attacks in Paris on gun violence, they also do their best to cover their own crimes. The President, regulatory agencies, and the statist community in our government are, for lack of a better way of explaining it, acting in a lawless manner. The Constitution is an obstacle, and the rule of law is an irritant.
