The third evil: Not voting at all

As disgruntled Republican voters and disappointed Democrat voters languish over a choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, some of them are saying it’s voting for the lesser of two evils, or, they're not voting at all.

Hillary's defining moment

Now that Hillary Clinton has declared herself the winner of the Democrat nomination for president before it is officially over, let's recap some of her most defining moments of what she would do as president (I pray not!) . . . in her own words:

New York Times hit piece on Trump feels awfully familiar

It was the most predictable thing, and for me, a very familiar thing as well. The New York Times, which might as well be the official newsletter of the Democrat Party and the Hillary campaign, goes around and interviews every woman it can find who’s ever had contact with Donald Trump – then writes a story that drips with implication he treats them boorishly and in a sexist manner.

Divided we fall

I suggested on Wednesday, when the departure of Ted Cruz and John Kasich from the race made Donald Trump the presumptive nominee, that people who were disappointed in the results take a deep breath and think rationally about the right step to take in light of the challenge that lies ahead - which is to keep Hillary Clinton out of the White House.

Would anyone in this party be interested in stopping Hillary?

No one has to explain to me about the rough-and-tumble nature of presidential primary races. I know a little something about this. They’re hard-fought because everyone wants to win, and while it’s usually not personal, no one is taking any prisoners because everyone wants the prize.

End identity politics: Do what you want, be what you are!

I’m starting to think the growing absurdity in our nation’s culture can be explained by a simple but troubling fact: Far too many people just don’t like who they are. They don’t like their identities.

Four years later, nothing has changed in U.S. foreign policy

Yesterday I took a trip down memory lane and listened to some audio clips from the first presidential debate I participated in back in 2011. We also played the clips on the radio, and couldn't help but notice something.

Thanks, ObamaCare! U.S. looks to be short 94,000 doctors

Maybe it’s just as well that state-run ObamaCare exchanges are collapsing under the weight of their own economic implausibility. If they were able to successfully provide people with decent health insurance coverage, there wouldn’t be enough doctors to provide the services anyway. ObamaCare strikes again!

Dedication to Barney

A friend, gentleman and fellow church member was just found dead from a home invasion at his Atlanta-area home. He was shot twice in the back. Barney was not sick to our knowledge, and he was a faithful contributing member of our church family, and his community.

You will believe in the left-wing orthodoxy, and you will like it

Banks announce they will not lend money to people who deal in firearms. A major fundraising web site refuses to host campaigns for the targets of ideological harassment. A U.S. senator openly threatens to go after global warming skeptics using a law that was passed to take down the mafia. Governors veto laws designed to protect religious freedom after receiving threats from organizations like the National Football League. And of course, conservative organizations endure harassment from the IRS.
