Deliver Us From Obama, a Prayer Whose Time Has Come

Deliver Us From ObamaOne little four-word prayer to see you through the darkest of days: “Deliver us from Obama”. Invoke the prayer every time you see Obama flashing at you from the boob tube; every time you see his picture on the cover of a magazine and you’ll be praying most of the time. You can invoke “Deliver us from Obama” every time you hear grade school children chanting, “Mmm mmm mmm, O-bam-a!” “Deliver us from Obama” is a perfect prayer because it puts believers in touch with the real Messiah and for those who prefer a more secular world, it cuts through an ever burgeoning cult back to reality.

In a day where lies masquerade as the truth and where human serfdom is at the end of the Hope and Change Rainbow, the “Deliver us from Obama” prayer is solace. Besides its beauty and sincerity this prayer has another advantage: You can invoke it any time of day or night and the ACLU, Nancy Pelosi and the Obamabots will never know. They can purge the words “In God we Trust” from the quickly tanking greenback, forbid the name of God from being uttered at public gatherings, and outlaw the Ten Commandments, but they cannot remove “Deliver us from Obama” from the human heart and lips. You can say your prayer every time you see Obama’s face where ever and whenever. According to Reuters, Obama mania has now reached China, where Obama’s picture is imprinted over that of China’s late leader Mao Zedong in the popular tourist area of Houhai in central Beijing on thousands of shirts and pouches. This latest cult craze is called “Oba Mao”. Did you know that long before our children were taught to chant “Mmm mmm mmm O-ba-ma!” there was an adult version already in place? One month after Barack Obama’s election as president, the adult version of the Mmm. mmm, mmm O-bam-a singalong was a “Deliver Us Obama” cult mantra. Last December’s “Deliver us Obama” chant was raised by a group many Americans had never heard of, The Gamaliel Foundation. A screeching preacher led the chant to what was to soon become a never-ending crescendo. Thanks to DiscovertheNetworks.org, a Guide to the Political Left, we know that the Gamaliel Foundation, which models its tactics after those of the radical Sixties activist Saul Alinsky, does a lot more than preach and screech.
“The stated mission of the Gamaliel Foundation (GF) is “to be a powerful network of grassroots, interfaith, interracial, multi-issue organizations working together to create a more just and more democratic society. Predicated on the notion that America is a land rife with injustice, GF agitates for social change by supporting the effort of a network of organizations (the Gamaliel Network) whose goal is to allow for individuals to “effectively participate” in the political, environmental, social and economic arenas. GF offers, for its network affiliates, programs to teach techniques and methodologies for bringing about social change; ongoing consultations; and organizer recruitment campaigns. “The Gamaliel Foundation derives its name from the biblical figure who, according to the New Testament chastised the Jewish Sanhedrin (rabbinical court) for wanting to give the death penalty to Jesus’ apostles. Says GF, “We work in the hope and the confidence that this work is of God.” GF was established in 1968 to support the Contract Buyers League, an African American organization fighting to protect homeowners on Chicago’s West Side who had been discriminated against by banks and lending institutions. “The Gamaliel Network receives much of its funding from the leftist group Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). Yet according to the Roman Catholic Faithful website, GF’s “goals and philosophies are at fundamental odds with Church teaching”. GF endorses “scriptural relativism” and encourage(s) a wide range of scriptural interpretations. “The Gamaliel Foundation receives grants from the Bauman Family Foundation, the Public Welfare Foundation, the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Ford Foundation, George Soros’s Open Society Institute, and others.”
Meanwhile, in a world where ObamaNation is going international thanks to the United Nations, there is a lot to pray for. “Deliver Us From Obama” is a prayer whose time has come.
