CNN anchor wonders if global warming is causing asteroids. ...seriously



No one says you have to be smart to be an on-air newsreader. In fact, it looks like CNN is out to prove that broadcasting an array of "low-information anchors" is the way to go.

Bill Nye used to be the "science guy." These days, he's CNN's official global warming "general consensus guy." Saturday, he was on with Deb Feyerick to talk about the snowstorm affecting the East coast. Deb, however, was more concerned that global warming may be pulling giant space rocks toward the Earth. "We want to bring in our science guy, Bill Nye," Feyerick said. "And talk about something else that's falling from the sky....and that is an asteroid. What's coming our way? Is this, perhaps, an effect of global warming? Or, is this just some meteoric occasion?" Unbelievable.
