With or without scientific backup, the “Scientist-in-Chief” resembles far more the “Pretender-in-Chief”

Is ‘Scientist-in-Chief’ Obama competing with Brain Expert Dr. Ben Carson?

If President Barack Obama is serious about pioneering a Congress-paid, $100-million mapping expedition into the human brain, he should seek the help of celebrated brilliant brain surgeon Dr. Ben Carson.
But it’s far more likely that megalomanic Obama is only jumping onto the human brain study bandwagon because that’s where the increasingly popular Dr. Carson is. “Obama, who jokingly labeled himself “Scientist-in-Chief”, said the so-called BRAIN Initiative could create jobs and eventually lead to answers to ailments including Parkinson’s and autism and help reverse the effect of a stroke. The president told scientists gathered yesterday in the White House’s East Room that the research has the potential to improve the lives of billions of people worldwide. (New York Daily News April 2, 2013) It’s been four plus long years of Obama in the White House and there has been no noticeable improvement in the lives of billions of people worldwide or on the home front.

“I’m glad I’ve been promoted Scientist-in-Chief,” Obama said, according to the Weekly Standard. “Given my grades in physics, I’m not sure it’s deserving. But I hold science in proper esteem, so maybe that gives me a little credit.” Parkinson’s, autism and strokes are no laughing matter, while the BRAIN Initiative seems to be. Nor does anyone on Earth other than Obama and his masters know what his grades in physics--or any other school subject--really were. On the same day Obama was asking Congress to spend $100 million on the brain project, he was preparing for yet another ‘First Family White House Groupie Session’, this one a glitzy installment in the “In Performance at the White House” concert series, the one being held while the White House is in ‘Sequester Lockdown’. “In Performance at the White House” prep followed closely on the heels of a White House “workshop” for the film 42 in the State Dining Room during which Michelle Obama ogled Chadwick Boseman--”he’s as cute as he was in the movie”. So we dare we ask: “How sincere is the “Scientist-in-Chief” on the BRAIN Initiative?” Is the BRAIN Initiative a double-entendre dig at Ben Carson, elevated to folk hero status, at February’s Obama-in-attendance Prayer Breakfast? The Double Entendre strategy has been as much at play as the TelePrompter during Obama’s Fundamental Transformation of America. His tactics have followed this step-by-step strategy: first: an executive order that slaps America in the face: retreat, run off on vacation, return for the next slap in the face. If Obama’s tactics in the Fundamental Transformation of America could be personified, he’d be the schoolyard bully who rushes up to knock an unsuspecting school mate over from behind before ducking for cover and telling the teacher it never happened. Odd how study of the human brain is his current mega million dollar endeavour during the brutalizing of Dr. Carson by the left, particularly by white Liberals, including Republican ones among the ever yakking FoxNews talking heads. “Obama wants to spend a hundred million dollars on the BRAIN Initiative and he’s applauded by Newt Gingrich,” Mark Levin said on his radio show last night. “Is he qualified to do this? No, but Ben Carson is. That’s been his focus for his entire life, his entire career anyway.” With or without scientific backup, the “Scientist-in-Chief” resembles far more the “Pretender-in-Chief”. Dr. Carson, who has proven outstanding success in hundreds of operations, achieving an amazing 80 to 90 percent success rate for difficult-to-treat trigeminal neuralgia.8 during a long and dedicated career, also contributed to new techniques used for conjoined twin separation, and accomplished one of the most complex surgical feats in history as the lead surgeon of a team that separated twins joined at the back of the head in a 22-hour long operation. (Wikipedia). Is Obama a hidden-from-public-view member of the group working to sideline Ben Carson, disqualifying him should he decide to run for the presidency? Sure looks that way.
