Now that Mr. Limbaugh as Rush Revere has hooked up with the Brave Pilgrims, and a talking horse with the ability to time travel, called Liberty, he’s doing something no one has been able to do these past dreary five years. He’s outfoxed the President Barack Obama administration and beaten the system to boot--with a book.

That’s the headline on the Drudge Report, and that’s the good news for parents whose children aren’t learning the truth about American history in the classrooms of today.
Rush Revere should remember forever that his book rocketed to Number 1 on Amazon, the same day that parents received letters from their school boards telling them that their children were unhealthy and fat.
Trapped by Common Core, many parents in all but a few states that successfully fought off the top-down government program indoctrinating their children, must have felt a breath of fresh coming down school corridors when they got word about Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims.
In describing the book horse, Liberty as “smart aleck” on his popular radio show yesterday, Limbaugh said he had fun writing the book.
Imaginative children will be taken back to epic times in American history in an adventurous time machine type fashion, starting with the Mayflower and America’s first Thanksgiving.
A history buff and an unabashed admirer of America’s glorious past, Limbaugh made sure that Rush Revere and the Brave Pilgrims remains true to history. “It’s the truth and it’s accurate”, he said of the book his late longterm friend, Vince Flynn and wife Kathryn encouraged him to write.
Among all of the problems America is now facing, the fact that schools are graduating children with no knowledge of the inspiring history of their own country, must be so discouraging for parents. Parents only want the best for their children and aren’t getting it in the high-priced education they pay for through their taxes.
As another school year just gets underway, many parents are already nonplussed as they learn from their children, that they no longer have to give the right answers in Math class, so long as they can explain to their teachers how they arrived at the wrong answer, that two and two don’t necessarily equal four.
Parents long to teach their children the truth about America’s past, but can’t find the books to teach them that truth.
Limbaugh’s book is bound to give teachers unions, school boards, and the current administration apoplexy.
Few really thought that the the last laugh would be on them. They will have to sit back knowing that they cannot stop parents from buying Paul Revere and the Brave Pilgrims when it hits the stands on Oct. 29.
Common Core will still be there and public education will continue to let youngsters down, but Rush Revere will be riding through a country in sore need of rescue, igniting the imaginations of children with an important message--the one that teaches them they can be proud to be American.
Thank you, Rush Revere, and Liberty, too for returning the common sense that two and two really do make four.
