Mamas, don’t let your sons grow up to be Obamas, using the colour of their skins as an everyday cop out.

Blaming one’s unpopularity on the colour of one’s skin is an easy way to shirk one’s duties. “There’s no doubt that there’s some folks who just really dislike me because they don’t like the idea of a black president,” Barack Obama told The New Yorkers David Remnick in an interview. “Some folks” just want an honest president who does the job he’s paid to do no matter what his skin colour. Though no one can legally attest to his credentials, Obama is half black, half white, and most significantly half-hearted when it comes to the hard work of running a country.

Obama’s a graduate of ‘The Grand Ole’ Oprah Academy’ where all the serious dislikes of those living under the Obama pen-and-telephone dictates can be written off by false charges of just not liking his colour. Obama, who told folk if he had a son he’d look like Trayvon Martin, is now saying if he had a son he wouldn’t let him play in the NFL. If he doesn’t like the rough and tumble of the NFL, he should find the courage to come right out and say so without the wuss ability of speaking through a convenient pretend son. Given a chance to play in the same game, if we had a son like Obama, we’d expect more work for the terrible price we all pay. During the past five years, Obama has run off on holiday; to the golf links; to play Spades with the omnipresent Reggie Love at the first sign of any work or trouble. This shiftless president many wouldn’t want their son to grow up and be like, is a grown man who speaks all but exclusively to high school and college kids rather than other adults. And when he does include adults in his never-ending assemblies, they’re only his cheering section ‘Folk’ are seeing a president who takes ‘selfies’ at a sombre memorial with a supposedly jealous wife shooting him baleful looks, followed by a holiday where that wife gets to stay behind for another week, followed by a birthday party where the same going-on-53-year-old talks about being “in love” with that very same spouse. How Michelle’s 50th was celebrated on Saturday night was all but a State Secret. AP tossed the crumb of a 3-paragraph story already covered by People Magazine that was stamped ‘copyright’. CNN showed pictures of the ‘Pretend People’ from the entertainment industry heading into the White House party. This is the only news that matters from Michelle’s Saturday night’s birthday bash: The president danced at his wife’s White House Birthday Party while some folk lay prostrate in pain having been deprived of medical assistance due to being tossed out of their own health insurance. Copyright that, mainstream media! Making happy while so many are losing their jobs and homes and are worried about the possibility of their children going hungry is being downright irresponsible. But taking no responsibility and refusing to be accountable are the trademarks of Barack Obama, who’d be irresponsible in black, white or red. Mamas, don’t let your sons grow up to be Obamas. In a world where it’s harder to get by, we don’t need any more arrogant, callous and uncaring. Don’t let your sons grow up to be Obamas because Obamas only get by courtesy of telling big whoppers.
