Every King Lear needs a captive audience and without one is merely acting for himself.
As Obama gets ready to preen at tonight’s State of the Union Address, sending out lies lies and more lies over the boob tube, ‘The Tune-out of all Time’ is the Little Guy show prep today. Calling it “The State of Coup”, Rush Limbaugh said on today’s radio show that all male SOTU attendees should put their arms around another woman and take a selfie--just the way Obama did at the Mandela Memorial. The State of the Union Blacked Out Union Address Party rocking on Facebook will be celebrated all across the fruited plain; a huge relief and the way out for the long-suffering unwashed to avoid seeing a simpering Nancy Pelosi, gutless Johnny Boehner, Plugs Biden and others bowing and scraping to the braggart who likes reminding the populace he has a pen and phone.
John D. Trudel, Consultant Emeritus, Inventor, Engineer, Author, retired Adjunct Professor (U. of Oregon), and Novelist nails it: “Tonight President Barack Hussein Obama, the man whom Rahm Emmanuel termed “The Black Jesus,” is doing another State of the Union performance. Few plan to take this seriously. According to Rasmussen, 62% see it as “Just for show.”  
“Various polls show Obama’s approval ratings in the range of ~ 38-42% and falling, a strong majority of the public (both parties) (>62%) now distrusts him, and >70% think the greatest problem we face is big government. “Dick Morris, whom I rarely quote, notes this speech will not attempt to unify or inspire. It will consist of Alinsky tactics to polarize, demonize, and divide. It will be targeted at Democrats only, aimed mostly at women and the young in an attempt to hold his base and prevent ObamaCare repeal. “Will Benghazi and failed foreign policy come up? Will the faux “war on women” be included? Unlikely, but they are certain to be discussed afterwards. “What’s the big issue under the surface? The one Obama will attempt to divert attention from? “Allen West says, “The State of the Dictatorship.” I agree. That’s the issue that should merit our concern. With repeated, blatant, unapologetic examples of Obama using IRS, NSA, and DOJ to target his political enemies, we dismiss this at our peril. The Federal Bureaucracies have been weaponized. Our basic freedoms are at risk.”
You can do something about “The Disastrous State of Dis-Union” as advised by a Facebook blogger that Michelle Obama and Valerie Jarrett can do absolutely nothing about other than seethe. “TURN HIM OFF.
