Biden: People are dumb, and Obama deserves sainthood for the patience he's shown with the ACA rollout

Normally, they like to keep Joe Biden locked up. This is a good instinct, because when he gets out in front of the cameras, he starts saying the kinds of things he's been saying over the course of the last two weeks. Still, every now and then, they have no choice but to let Crazy Joe off his chain so he can run around the yard a bit. Friday, they let him speak before the National Association of Community Health Centers policy summit in Washington, D.C.

Ostensibly, he was there to rally the troops ahead of the push to enroll more ObamaCare victims before the March 31st deadline. How one man can cram so much "wrong" into just two minutes is utterly baffling. Not only did he make the ridiculous claim that Healthcare.gov - a website that still doesn't have a functional back-end billing mechanism - is "basically fixed," but he also managed to belittle the very people he's trying to get to enroll in Obama's Ponzi scheme. According to the Vice President, people who are trying to buy insurance are complete morons:

“It’s complicated, so we shouldn’t be surprised that it’s complicated for people who have never thought they’d be able to have insurance. No matter how good the bargain is, it's especially challenging for folks who are looking at it for the first time. That's why they're so vulnerable. With patience and empathy, you look these people in the eye. And the first thing you do is you calm them down. The first thing you do is let them know that there's no reason to be embarrassed that it's complicated. How many people have you spoken to you can tell by the look on their face they’re almost embarrassed to asks you the questions, because they don’t want to feel stupid?”

"You know it," Biden whispered in his most sincere, heartfelt, wise-old-sage voice. "And that's why they trust you." In other words: The peasants are too dumb to understand our uber-complex tax-enforced nightmare but they have to comply, so thank God you're here. Biden went on to admit that the rollout of the country's least popular election year millstone had been utterly disastrous. He lamented the fact that, "We didn't help you much at the front end here, man." Then he joked that Barack Obama - a man who rammed an unwanted, non-functional, unconstitutional law down America's throat - should be nominated for sainthood. ...Because he's been so patient with the process.

"My boss, my friend Barack Obama, is an incredibly patient man. I suggested, after going through the first couple weeks, I would nominate him for sainthood ...that he kept his patience.”

Yes, the President is holy indeed. Why, the piety with which he forced an entire nation into his unsustainable trainwreck was just magnificent. Someone should buy him some flowing robes. Unbelievable.
