Hillary plans June 13th rally to announce Presidential campaign. Wait, what?

Back on April 12th, the New York Times covered the announcement of Hillary Clinton's presidential aspirations like this:

Ending two years of speculation and coy denials, Hillary Rodham Clintonannounced on Sunday that she would seek the presidency for a second time, immediately establishing herself as the likely 2016 Democratic nominee.

To make her announcement crystal clear, she released the following video - which features a brief speech containing the unambiguous line "I'm running for President." Since then, her campaign has been one disaster after another. We've seen a weird drive across America, fast food stops, gaffes about money, a constant string of scandals related to the family charity, and serious accusations of influence pedaling while she was Secretary of State. In fact, her presidential bid has been such a disaster that it looks like she's planning to pretend it never happened. According to her official Twitter feed, Hillary will be making her official announcement on June 13th. The speech in that video didn't count. All of the "intimate events" you've seen didn't count either. That was all part of the "ramp up phase." Now, Hillary commands that you "get excited" because this is the real deal.

We wonder: when this announcement flops (because people now realize she's a throwback candidate with a mountain of unpleasant baggage) will she take another political mulligan and announce again? Heck, she's the inevitable candidate, right? Why bother campaigning at all? She could just "announce" every few weeks until Election Day!
