The stench of desperation

Hillary: Republicans who want to defund Planned Parenthood are pretty much terrorists

Let's say you've been in politics for thirty or forty years. You're crooked, corrupt, and mad with power. Your long history of deceit is well documented, but you've decided it's your turn to be President. So, you're running for the nation's top job. To your consternation, your campaign is being decimated by your own checkered past. You're primarily known as a dishonest, untrustworthy, liar. What do you do?

Well, if Hillary Clinton is any indication, you become desperate to change the narrative. You put on your "folksy" accent and you start babbling about how your opponents are terrorists. That was the message Mrs. Clinton offered in Ohio yesterday. If you're one of the evil people who think taxpayers shouldn't be funding outfits that mutilate babies and sell the parts, you're "extreme." ...Just like ISIS.
"Now, extreme views about women, we expect that from some of the terrorist groups, we expect that from people who don't want to live in the modern world, but it's a little hard to take from Republicans who want to be the president of the United States. Yet they espouse out of date, out of touch policies. They are dead wrong for 21st century America. We are going forward, we are not going back."
We could talk all day about how wrong this is. In Hillary's warped mind, chopping up infants to harvest their livers and eyes - cutting through their faces to get to the brains - isn't comparable to the actions of a barbaric terrorist organization. Stopping it is. Imagine how sick one has to be in order to think like that. However, if you're reading this site, you already know exactly who and what Hillary is. So let's skip that part and talk about the politics. This is a moment of pure distress, and we've seen it before. Remember George H.W. Bush's "Bozo" line? McCain's "Wacko Birds" bit? How about Al Gore's arrogant sighs during the 2000 debates? All of these are moments where a self-destructing politician starts flailing at their opponents - desperate to shift the spotlight to anything but their own shortcomings. Hillary's polls are in free fall, her message is antiquated, and she can figure out how to turn things around. So she's lashing out at the GOP field. Unfortunately for her, she's only directing attention to her impeding failure.
