The Ted Cruz birther movement is laughable, sad, and going nowhere fast.
CNN says Ted Cruz is eligible to run for President

Of all the loony progressive subsets, the Ted Cruz birthers might be the most pathetic. This desperate, pre-emptive strike on Cruz’s possible presidential run has been concocted by people who either A: Think it’s a funny way to “get revenge” for the Obama birthers, or B: fear Cruz’s candidacy so much that they’ve decided to destroy him as quickly as possible.
Either way, they’re destined for disappointment. Their argument - that Cruz is not a “natural born” citizen of the U.S. and is therefore ineligible for the Presidency - is already falling apart.
According to the Congressional Research Service, “The weight of legal and historical authority indicates that the term “natural born” citizen would mean a person who is entitled to U.S. citizenship “by birth” or “at birth,” either by being born “in” the United States and under its jurisdiction, even those born to alien parents; by being born abroad to U.S. citizen-parents; or by being born in other situations meeting legal requirements for U.S. citizenship “at birth.”
It’s that last bit that stings if you’re trying to deep-six Cruz’s White House aspirations. Since Cruz’s mother was a U.S. citizen at the time of his birth, Cruz met the legal requirements for citizenship from day one.
But, let’s say you’re a diehard liberal and true-believer. The shadowy puppet masters at the Congressional Research Service aren’t going to cut it. You’ll need to hear this sad news from a source you can trust - someone whose reputation is beyond reproach.
...Someone like Wolf Blitzer and his band of ‘completely unbiased’ researchers.
Obviously “they” have gotten to CNN. Basement dwelling Cruz-birthers will have to add CNN to their list of “compromised” news outlets. Fortunately, conspiracy theorists still have one honorable man who will pick up and carry their flag: Donald Trump.
During an interview on ABC’s This Week, Trump told Jonathan Karl that he was uncertain about whether Cruz is eligible. “If he was born in Canada, perhaps not.” Trump said. “I don’t know the circumstances. I heard somebody told me he was born in Canada. That’s really his thing.”
Congratulations to the leftist goons trying to derail Ted Cruz. You’ve aligned yourself with “The Donald’s” one-man circus. How proud you must be.
