A taxpayer who votes Liberal is like a chicken who votes for Colonel Sanders.

1. Japanese eat very little fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

2. Mexicans eat a lot of fat and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

3. Chinese drink very little red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

4. Italians drink excessive amounts of red wine and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

5. Germans drink beer and eat lots of sausages and fats and suffer fewer heart attacks than us.

CONCLUSION: Eat and drink what you like. Speaking English is apparently what kills you. But don’t worry, the Federal Government is trying to correct this problem.

An ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile. 

A representative from Israel began: “Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses. When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, ‘What a good opportunity to have a bath!’

He removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water.

When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them.”

The Israeli representative smiled and said:

“And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.”

A public school teacher was arrested today at John F. Kennedy International Airport as he attempted to board a flight while in possession of a ruler, a protractor, a set square, a slide rule, and a calculator. At a morning press conference, the Attorney General said he believes the man is a member of the notorious Al-gebra movement. He did not identify the man, who has been charged by the FBI with carrying weapons of math instruction. 

‘Al-gebra is a problem for us,’ the Attorney General said. ‘They desire solutions by means and extremes, and sometimes go off on tangents in a search of absolute value. They use secret code names like ‘x’ and ‘y’ and refer to themselves as ‘unknowns,’ but we have determined they belong to a common denominator of the axis of medieval with coordinates in every country. As the Greek philanderer Isosceles used to say, ‘There are 3 sides to every triangle.” 

When asked to comment on the arrest, Senator Obama said, ‘If God had wanted us to have better Weapons of Math Instruction, he would have given us more fingers and toes.’ Democratic leaders told reporters they could not recall a more intelligent or profound statement by the Senator.

LEESBURG, Fla. — A giant American flag that is larger than a city ordinance allows will be allowed to continue to fly at a popular Central Florida car dealership.

Monday night, Leesburg city commissioners agreed that the flag at the Cecil Clark Chevrolet dealership is more like a landmark since it has been on display for 20 years, and said it could stay.

Earlier this month, the commission wanted the flag removed.

“The community decided that they wanted better standards on the roadways,” city manager Jay Evans said during an earlier interview. “We love the American flag and we are patriotic but there are standards that are in place now and we need to talk about whether or not — in the future — those are the right standards to have.”

Clark launched a full-page ad in a local newspaper asking, “Do you find the sight of this flag objectionable?” with a photo of the American flag before Monday’s decision.

The giant flag is 65 feet higher and 120 square feet bigger than the new Leesburg city ordinance allows.

In an Access Holllywood “exclusive”,  Obama’s school aged daughters, Malia, 10, and Sasha, 7, appear in a domestic scene, celebrating both Maila’s 10th birthday and Independence Day.

Some seemed suprised that the senator would allow his daughters to appear in this publicity stunt.

Their surprise is displaced, given that the presidental wannabe already tossed his own Grandma under the bus.

William Bedford writes the most stirring poems.  There is something about the Emerald Isle that breathes a talent to express poetry in some of its sons.  Ireland is afterall the home of James Joyce, Seamus Heaney and W.B. Yeats, amongst many others.

From the time The MESSIAH Barack Obama was sworn in as a United States Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate.

That’s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.

After 143 days of work experience, The MESSIAH Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free MUSLIM World, and fill the shoes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Ronald Reagan.

143 days  I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that.

In contrast, John McCain’s 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever.
