    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
Dear Sir: Your column was read today on the Rush Limbaugh Show. You should call and tell talk to him about out. You should try to get to him some how.

    Sincerly, Peter W. Dunn
    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
Dear Mr. Rohrich; In trusting that you won't be insulted, I'd like to inform you that the ad you heard was actually a ringer constructed and played by the Rush Limbaugh program right here in the United States. Check with Rush at [email protected] to find out.

    Sincerly, Ken Lizotte Bristol, Vermont

    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
Boy, you hit the nail right on the head and really make me feel better. After reading the local democratic rag, ( the local newspaper, the Toledo Blade,) this morning and having a woman tell all of us that voted for George Bush that we are stupid, I was mad and down a bit. But, then I come across your article, and find that people in other countries can see just how bad these democrats and their money boys are, I feel a lot better. There are some sane people in Canada after all.

    Sincerly, Sid Morris

    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
f you've ever doubted that the Democrats' luminaries are either A) loopy and/or B) convinced that their constituents are total morons, then listening to George Soros' commercial detailing the evils of Karl Rove will forever erase any doubts. I first heard it last week while driving through New York State and listening to talk radio, and my first impression was that it was a clever and very funny spoof on the Democrats' feelings about Karl Rove.

Sincerely, Bill Baldwin Near San Francisco, CA
    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
your article about Karl Rove supposedly put on by Moveon.org. That "commercial" is a fake and was done for Rush Limbaugh's show. The voice is Johnny Donovan's and he works for Limbaugh. The writer's right about the left in this country but not in this case. Anyway, Mr Rohrich's article proves Rush's point that you have to listen to him for at least six weeks before you really get him.

Sinerly, Jeannine Filippini New Hope, PA
    Dear Editor:

    Klaus,
I'm pretty certain that the commercial that you heard was a spoof on the Rush Limbaugh program. I've heard it several times while listening to him.

    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
As a former Democrat I think you have hit the "nail right on the head." The Bush administration and the Republicans could have no better enemy that the moveon.org controlled Democrats and a LSM that hasn't go a clue. My hope is that they keep on "hoisting themselves on their own petards" so to speak. By the way I am now an Independent after almost 40 years of being a registered Democrat. Good to see some people in Canada get it.
    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:
Uh, Klaus, the anti-Rove ad WAS a spoof. George Soros would NEVER put his name in an ad. Remember, he funds groups like MoveOn.org, keeping his name out of it. Also, the business about the K being the same for Karl and KKK is also a giveaway. This is a typical Rush Limbaugh ad parody.

    Sincerly, Sharon Hes
    Dear Editor:
    Re: Krushing Karl Rove:

    And you are defending Rove?

The Republican party leadership has become nothing more then a bunch of fascist. If you say anything against them they will destroy you even when it is clear that they are lying, regardless of who gets hurt. The RNC really ought to apologize to the CIA agents and their families for saying that they deserve no protection. Rove and his elk should be pulled out of the Whitehouse now, put on trail and if found guilty of treason hung in the public square.

The RNC leaders has completely abandoned all that the party once stood for. They attack its own members who speak against them. The party has become the party hate, lies and deception.

    Sincerly, Thomas Gardner,

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
Thank you so much for showing us the other side of Canadian Journalism, the "Right" side. Regardless of anyone's political preference, the recent comments made by Senator Durbin reeked of treason, and are further truth that the Democrats never get over a defeat. I am an army veteran, a Christian and grandparent who is gravely fearful for the future of this country. The press is controlled by left wing, ultra liberals bordering on Communism in their principles. The Democratic party has been reduced to bed-wetting liberals that hate George Bush enough to sell their souls, and this country's freedom, to the devil or anyone else to further their political agenda. Clinton had eight years to prevent what President Bush had six months to prepare for, but with Clinton's INTELLIGENCE. After the attacks in London this week, I feel that torture of captured terrorists should be authorized, and the ACLU abolished. You cannot love this country if you constantly attack our own armed services and give aid and comfort to the enemy. America, Love It or Leave It, NOW!! GOD Bless you Mr. Rohrich, and all Canadians that see America for what it really is: "The land of the FREE and the home of the BRAVE." At any price, we mean to keep Her that way.

    Sincerely,

Re: Enough of the Negativity please:

A tip of the Burka to you on your fine article. I follow American politics very closely, and to listen to the deranged Democrats, one could be led to believe that there was mass slaughter taking place down Guantanamo way. Not so. To the best of my knowledge, there has been no loss of life at the hands of your soldiers and others who handle such dross. But turn the tables, and you will find plenty of Americans, minus a head, found in that delightful part of the world where we all long to vacation in, the Middle East Riviera. These Democrats need to give their heads a shake and wake up to the reality of WAR, which is precisely what the civilised world is in against these debased savages.

    Again, well done. Best wishes.

Re: Enough of the Negativity please

The merciless attack by terrorist assassins in London, yesterday, was on my mind as I watched an episode on the History Channel, here in the colonies. The program concerned the Mosquito Bomber aircraft of WWII, manufactured by our British cousins of WOOD! This use of wood was due, of course, to extreme shortages of metals, as a result of war production requirements. The performance of the wooden airplanes was outstanding, much to the astonishment of the Nazis.

The point is, the sun may have set on the British empire; but, not on the British, nor their legacy. This small island, birthplace of most of the ideas which have made modern industrial democratic republics successful throughout the world, will not be defeated by terrorists. If the combined might of the axis powers could not crush Britain (along with its Commonwealth, American, and Soviet allies) then by gosh, the terrorists shall not do so either.

Remember the words of your half-American Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill: "Never, never, never give up." God save the Queen, and all of Britain.

Re: Enough of the Negativity please

Thank you for writing the truth about some of our distinguished ( No, no! I must resist the urge to say vicious, lying, demagogue bastards!) gentlemen politicians' bizarre utterances.

In my opinion, they are traitors since their acts work to undermine our constitution, weaken our country's moral authority in the war on terrorism and in the world, reduce the US to a secular country by degrading and erasing our Christian heritage, promote 'multi-culti' and moral equivalencies (that explains regarding the Islam terrorists as morally equivalent to any other religious/political group) that pervade our educational and other institutions, the fascistic political correctness, sensitivity training (public humiliations/punishments - a man daren't tell a woman she's alluring), the sneering at our founding fathers because they were mean, arrogant, sexist, white men, slave-owners - as though slavery only occurred in the US, a scandalous, perhaps expedient willful ignorance re slavery history. The problem with our founding fathers, was their Christian morality, - the universal moral power within it - and this must be condemned, and disappear: Then morality is a matter of ever-changing personal preference, and it then becomes acceptable to lie, bear false witness, steal, etc., especially if it harms your opposition or advances you, you, you in any way.

These US politicians are not Democrats, they are merely registered as, do their villainy within the Democrat party.

    Mish-mash of Communist-Marxist-Socialist, Left-wing spit-talking, histrionical power-mad politicians.

    Sincerely,

I didn't think anyone in Canada understood what is happening, or recognized that we are at war -- a war we didn't start [or ask for or deserve] Thanks for recognizing that the people being held at Gitmo are not political dissidents but terrorist who want nothing more than to go on murdering Americans.

    Thanks for writing this article.

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
Thanks very much for your comments regarding the extremist left wing Democrats serving in the U.S. legislature and elsewhere. I fully agree with your remarks, and feel most Americans agree; we are fed up with the obstruction and constant siding with the enemy we see, not only by the Senators you mentioned, but by much of the "mainstream" media in our country. I certainly hope those jerks will learn a lesson in our next election cycle, though they still don't seem to realize this could be the reason they have been losing ground over the past several elections.

Just finished reading your article and wish it was mandatory reading here in the United States. I agree with every word and really appreciate someone from our northern neighbors saying it. I am really worried about our country with such vitrol coming from our senators and putting politics above our national safety. Thank you very much for the article and will forward it to all my friends.

thank you sir. This Illinois resident certainly plans to do all in my power to defeat Dick Durbin. Sad to say he's got a few years left and the electorate has an amazing short memory. We appreciate your word of support - I take back my opinion that all Canadians are raving Liberal moonbats.

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
You are right about the negativity. It needs to stop. Here is something positive. I believe there is a global civil right in all this mess. I also believe you know from legal cases like Al Capone, where collusion and corruption went hand in hand, that what stopped Capone was tax evasion. Some Democrats, terrorists, and socialists I believe are in just as much collusion and corruption as Al Capone. Stopping a group in collusion is difficult. I believe in order to stop this group we will need a global civil right to peace education that is founded on non-fundamentalist universal principles. I need help putting this positive action together. The following example was addressed to individual Arizona politicians and news groups, but it could have as easily been addressed to Michigan, California, etc. I am sorry the beginning paragraphs are so choppy. Can you help me put this positive global action together?

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
Thank you for your truthful words about the fifth column that the Democrats have become in our country. The values of Western Civilization are imperiled by these Leftist, wholly partisan politicians who, unfortunately, have the support of the major media and the educators of our country. The Left is in bed with the Islamofacists because both want to destroy our free, capitalist system of government -- I fear that they are succeeding with the help of our courts.

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
Thank You! Thank You! Thank You! Although redundant might I add to your excellent piece that, yes, the Dems do feel that they ought to be the 'government' if not in absentia but actually present and fighting on with the incurable foot-in-mouth disease! All of the ones you mentioned have more dirt under their nails, including Billy boy whose mouth to this day does not stop flapping around the world how things ought to be done (and not just in the US), but while he was at the rudder failed miserably as you pointed out. As a foreigner I am stunned by the negativity of these so called Americans, and politicians at that, that they are not united behind the president and have apparently not heard the results of the last election and that the people have spoken. They spoke eloquently as did your piece but it falls on deaf ears!

Their resentment that they did not win the elections, that free speech applies only to them, rights are only theirs is utterly amazing to me. But then so is the fact that a state votes a murderer over and over into office, a man, for whom an 180 year old law needed to be changed to keep him out of prison. But this piece of lard who has been riding the coattails of his dead brothers this age is a convinced communist whose father was little more than Irish Mafia and the entire family has never shown anything but contempt for the little man, as do the clintoooooons. You might have heard the latest 'ruling' by the little men in black, 'Supreme Court Injustices" who believe themselves to be Caesars if not God, whereby you can take poor average Joe six-pack's property to give it to exactly the kind of man, old Joe Kennedy was, a developer who will pay more taxes but gets your property. Not a peep out of the left that always proclaims "to fight for the rights of the little man!" Shrillary Hitlery stands for the fact that every American can only own $60.000 (but she and the rest of these lefty superrich are exempt) and the rest goes to the state who will care for you!

Considering that old people now get killed with great regularity we will have to turn age way down to accommodate her so that she can really reap and carry out her commie system should she get into the White House. As an outsider this leaves me to wonder that with an increase of murdering unborn babies who will support these 'politically correct' politicians and their utopian dreams, where, after all, they are only handing out to all the deserving poor and minorities. I suppose we should all get ourselves into a minority as quickly as we can so that we can stand in line. Especially since the Muslim uterus wants rule the world, I expect them to do as much for us as we are doing for them. Of course, I could be dreaming.

But right now, in order to 'succeed' we are having long debates if we have piped the correct music in, handled the stinking Koran with kid gloves or fabric gloves, if the food was an interesting choice, needless to point out that pork is off the menu. As someone pointed out yesterday, a Muslim no less, the Koran should be banned from these shores as long as the Bible is banned in Muslim countries. I do know about prison camps, and gulags and concentration camps. Most people would have loved having this Gitmo service, but they were lucky if they survived. If there were a Santa Claus and I had one wish it would be that your piece be sent to lardy lard Kennedy, Hickboy Durbin, Hitlery, Lee, Maxine and other shrills of the left, not to forget the drip of drips, Kerry who wants to chat with terrorists. Thanks again for your excellent piece!

    Sincerely,

    D. von Rochow, Noo Yaak Siddy (NYC)

Re: Enough of the Negativity please
Just some feedback from your article; always read The Sun when it pops up on the "Drudge Report"...not a letter to the editor.
The most difficult choice I ever made was changing my citizenship from Canadian to American. Our oldest daughter (47) was a flag waving Canadian from the time we moved to the U.S. in 1966 until last year; when she decided to become an American citizen, mostly because of the politics in Canada. It seems everyone there wants the government to take care of them. We could never have accomplished in Canada, everything we did in the U.S. In our 50s we published a magazine for 10 years (titled ELAN, the French word for spirit) and now in our "old age" we live in Bullhead City, AZ where we both work and are very involved in the community. No Canadian city I ever lived in had the amount or voluntarism you see in this country. (Montreal, Toronto, Cornwall, Ottawa, Niagara on the Lake, Woodstock, Ont.)

When I call my relatives in Cornwall, Ontario, they are happy that all the large businesses are going or gone, even Domtar Papers. The city has the same population about 40,000 as when I left in 1956. Nothing changes. We think of Canadians now pretty much as socialists. My grandparents emigrated from Lithuania because the gov't there was basically taking businesses the people owned. They worked hard to create a new life in Canada. Seems like they would be back to square one now if they were still alive.

I still work in marketing, mainly for physicians. I can assure you that we have very good medical care in this area although I confess it's always a fight for the doctors with the insurance companies to be paid in a timely manner. However, Canada is producing some great medical technology which we are using here (Laborie Medical Technologies, Montreal & Toronto) for "Incontinence" a huge proble for women and men. Carole Main

    Dear Editor:
Re: Enough of the Negativity please
    Dear Klaus Rohrich,

I've just finished reading your interesting article, but can't agree that Canadians are a "nation of wimps." Some of us are struggling hard against our various levels of government. The trouble is, the governmental juggernaut is so powerful it can grind the ordinary citizen into the dust. You need enormous amounts of stamina and patience to confront government.

By the way, polygamy will never be legalized in Canada .. although most of the media doesn't seem to realize that. Canada ratified the UN Convention on the Elimination of All forms of Discrimination Against Women (Equality in Marriage and Family Relations, 04/02/94. CEDAW General Recommendations 21) on October 18, 2002. Sections 14 and 39 state that polygamy contravenes women's equality rights and also harms their children. Canada is legally obligated to uphold this document's provisions. As well, Sections 15 and 28 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms guarantee women complete equality with men. The Charter, plus CEDAW, raise a powerful barrier against the possibility of the third-world practice of polygamy being instituted here. If certain immigrants don't like that, too bad. There is no place in a first-world country like Canada for harems and concubines.

I belong to a group of 8 women who have complained to the BC Human Rights Tribunal about the negligence and indifference of our BC provincial government towards the illegal polygamous community at Bountiful. The public hearing will take place from April 17 - 28, 2006. We're distressed that the hearing lies so far in the future; unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about that. We are ordinary citizens challenging a provincial government that is too scared to deal with a bunch of polygamists who are literally taking 14 and 15-year-old girls out of school, forcing them to become concubines, and impregnating them. Bountiful isn't about freedom of religion, as our government claims. No religion in Canada gives men the right to take girl children out of school and force them to have sex with men much older than they are. Rape, in other words. If you want to see dyed-in-the-wool wimps, look no further than the BC Liberals.

    Sincerely,
Jancis Andrews (Mrs.) P.S. If it's useful to you, you may quote any part of my email.
