Embracing the “Extreme”

imageRepublicans have a golden opportunity to turn the political table on Democrats who have labeled them as “extreme,” after Rep. Paul Ryan submitted his budget. The term extreme has always been a successful political weapon used by Democrats to attack Republicans on everything from social issues to taxes and conservative economic policies.

Trump-ing Obama

If the Republicans are considering running another politician against President Obama, they can expect the same results as 2008 - defeat.

Obama’s True Religion

We all know that a person’s words are one thing, but when those words are backed up with actions, a true picture of that person will always begin to emerge.

Time to call in a specialist

imageApnews.myway.com reported on President Obama’s weekly radio address this past Saturday saying, “President Obama said the GOP leadership has chosen to "filibuster our recovery and obstruct our progress" by blocking votes on agenda items the president says would breathe life into the economic recovery.” Hearing President Obama once again blaming the Republicans for a lifeless economic recovery, when he holds all the power in Washington and is calling all the shots, I couldn’t help coming up with the following absurd scenario to highlight how I believe a lot of people probably feel about our president these days: Barely clinging to life after numerous resuscitation attempts, the gravely ill patient lies helpless on an ER gurney at the mercy of the attending young intern.

Yearning for the ‘brink’

Based on America’s economy today versus where it was eighteen months ago, before Obama “brought it back from the brink” - I prefer the “brink”

Leaking Well Capped – Story Over

Now that BP has finally capped the leak, the media will literally treat it like a car wreck on the Washington beltway - move along people – nothing to see here.

Silver Platter Campaign Gifts

In every campaign since I can remember, Democrats have impressed me with one political tactic: they understood their talking points and never missed an opportunity to espouse them – usually as a preface to EVERY answer - no matter what the question.

Barack Petroleum Passes the Buck

imageNobel Prize winning Barack Obama and BP CEO Tony “It wasn’t our accident” Hayward, met Wednesday and decided to pass the buck of responsibility and ultimately hold each other harmless in the distribution of the $20 Billion escrow account established for damages to Gulf oil leak victims.

“Barack Blanket Bingo”

Tune in tonight at 8:00pm on just about any channel you turn to, as Frankie, played by Barack Obama, hits the beach and explains to America how he’s going to take his boot off of Eric Von Zipper’s neck and plant it on his backside.

The real “Ass” Obama should be kicking

imageThe real “#” Obama should be kicking is the icon for his Democrat Party. The Democrat Party beast of burden is foundering under the Obama administration’s heavy burden of an impending $19 trillion debt by 2015, trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see, a 50-day-old oil spill in the Gulf that’s still leaking thousands of gallons a day, almost 10% unemployment with no end in sight, over three and a half million jobs lost since Obama took office, over a trillion dollars in stimulus spending that still hasn’t worked, a Southern border leaking illegal aliens like a sieve, the worst economy since Jimmy Carter, a health care bill nobody wanted with estimated cost overruns already in the billions – possibly trillions, allegations of political bribery pay-offs and cover-ups, all topped by a weak and dangerous foreign policy.

Hello, Goodbye Mr. McCartney

imageYou Won't See Me ever buying a ticket to a Paul McCartney concert after his remarks in the east room of the White House after being given the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. And I've Got a Feeling that many McCartney fans won't Dig It when they find out. After the ceremony and concert, Paul McCartney told the White House crowd that, "After the last eight years, it's great to have a President who knows what a library is." Nobody I Know would ever condone such a rude and demeaning comment in the confines of the White House -- especially after just being honored there. But McCartney couldn't Let It Be and acted just like a Little Child waiting for the perfect time to embarrass himself.

Obama’s Arizona Stance Borders Treason

imageWithout a hint of hesitation after Arizona passed their new immigration law, President Obama immediately condemned our 48th State by calling Arizona’s new immigration law misdirected, troubling, and potentially discriminatory. What followed was an onslaught of protests and proposed boycotts against Arizona from New York to Los Angles filled with allegations of hate and racism over their new immigration law. So the question that remains is; by standing idly by while all this is taking place, is President Obama, in essence, encouraging harm against the very country that he swore an oath to protect?

No Mas el Presidente Calderon

imageNo mas el Presidente Calderon -- not in our house! Before you decide to come back into our house telling us how to run our country, clean up your own mess back in Mexico. If "your people," as you refer to them, need work so bad that they have to come to America illegally, why not put them to work on your side of the border - building a fence? That should keep them busy for the next few years.

Obama “Madoff” with our tax dollars

Don't you just love it when "rich" executives get implicated in corporate scandals and the media starts asking obvious questions like: Didn't anyone see this coming? Who is responsible for watching these guys? And, why weren't they caught sooner?

The Tip of the Tea Party Iceberg

It's not the tens of thousands of grass-roots conservatives who show up at Tea Party protests around the country that have President Obama and the entire Democrat Party worried -- it's the millions of conservative Tea Party supporters who don't show up at those events that have them scared to death. Picture the Tea Party as an iceberg. Experienced seafaring navigators who travel the North Atlantic will tell you that the exposed tip of an iceberg is not their main concern, it's the huge mass of the unseen iceberg hidden below the surface that poses the greatest danger to their ships.

The TMI President

In the 1960’s, AT&T’s public relations department supposedly coined the term “ Information Age.” This past weekend during his commencement address at Hampton University, President Obama may have coined another term, “TMI Age.”

Was the Times Square Bomb Only a Test?

imageIn the midst of the love fest press conference held by Attorney General Eric Holder and Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano to pat each other on the back and garner accolades from the press after the capture of Islamic terrorist Faisal Shahzad for the attempted car bombing in Times Square, three important questions were never asked – but absolutely demand answers.
