VIDEO: That Hillary shoe-throwing thing does look kind of fake, huh?

Media Matters for America is hilarious. Its supposed mission is to expose conservatives saying outlandish things. But many of the things they "expose" are not all that outlandish at all, and the fact that MMA thinks they are really just exposes how delusional MMA is about the politicians they admire.

Reversal: Obama may not surrender control of the Internet after all

We told you a few weeks back that the Obama Administration was prepared to take an astonishing step of surrender, even for this crew, in giving up control of the Internet's domain name system. That would threaten the Internet's independence as it would create an opportunity for regimes far less friendly to freedom to step in and gain power and influence.

Democrats pick The "Wendy Davis Redux" Candidate for Michigan's Lt. Governor

It is not normally worth much news coverage when a candidate picks a running mate, although it usually gets a fair amount because political junkies tend to be obsessed with such minutia. But it's worth taking a look when a candidate chooses a running mate with nothing much to recommend her except the fact that she once angrily mentioned one of her own body parts during a legislative session, and that brings us to Mark Schauer, Michigan's presumptive Democrat nominee for governor, and his new running mate, Lisa Brown:

House vote pending to hold Lois Lerner in contempt

The right not to self-incriminate means that you don't have to give any testimony by which you point the finger at yourself. Did Lois Lerner give up that right when, in her initial testimony before Congress, she gave an opening statement but then refused to answer questions? Darrell Issa clearly thinks so, and his committee is about to conduct a vote that would hold her in contempt of Congress:

Gay activists destroy another dissenter as Mozilla ousts its CEO

People who are advocating a righteous cause do not seek to silence all dissent and destroy those who dare to disagree. They let the truth of their position speak for itself, and they don't fear those who mistakenly fail to see the virtue of their position.

State Department misplaced $6 billion under World's Smartest Woman

Apparently much too hard for some people. But then again, as we've often pointed out, some people get jobs for the jobs' value on the jobholder's resume - not because they have either the ability or the inclination to do the job well. Any idea who that might apply to? Hmm?

A Koch brother speaks! Op-ed lays smack to assassins of his character

I don't know if you realize that Charles Koch, like his brother David, is an actual human being. Judging from the way Democrats talk about him, you might have gotten the impression that he is some sort of alien overlord. (I would have said demon but the left would never acknowledge that anything biblical is real.)

Shooter kills 3 at Ford Hood, where no one is allowed to carry guns

It doesn't sound like terrorism this time, although you can't really put much stock in the predictable initial pronouncement that "authorities are downplaying terrorism," since they've done that many times when it did indeed turn out to be terrorism. It's just that as far as we know Ivan Lopez has no connection to any terrorist group nor any Muslim background.

Safety stonewall: Government Motors sure sounds like the same old GM

Remember when then-General Motors CEO Rick Wagoner went to Capitol Hill and told members of Congress that GM had to be saved by the taxpayers because, in part, it had been part of the "arsenal of democracy" that made tanks instead of cars during World War II? Why, you couldn't let a virtuous company like that go out of business.

It's clear that Jesus is the Son of God and rose from the dead, says . . . Bono?

I post this not because I think it's so exciting every time a celebrity professes faith in Christ, or even when a secular rock star does, but because I am struck by how straightforward and effective Bono is in asserting it. I've seen pretty well-known preachers stumble over the same question because they seem too concerned about how the interviewer will react. Not Bono. Here is what I believe. Do what you will:
