Famous Jihadists Who Were Potheads

May 25, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Marijuana may be getting good press from the media, especially from reporters who smoke it, but the Journal of Addiction Research & Therapy has published a ground-breaking analysis of how weed is linked to violence, mental illness and jihad.

Islamists are evil enough, since they act on the basis of radical religious ideology. But the evidence shows that marijuana, which is spreading across the United States through George Soros-funded initiatives, can help fuel the anti-American Jihad.

Marijuana, the authors of the report say, can spark psychosis and paranoia, and thus contribute to terroristic thoughts and exacerbate aggressive behavior.

Special Counsel Mueller Will Get His Man

May 24, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

One of the big problems with the media is that journalists publish so many things that aren’t true, especially when they are writing about people in positions of power whom they want to pursue their liberal agendas.

Consider this statement from a Politico article by Garrett M. Graff about the special counsel investigating Russia-gate: “Robert Mueller might just be America’s straightest arrow—a respected, nonpartisan and fiercely apolitical public servant whose only lifetime motivation has been the search for justice.”

This so-called straight arrow blew the biggest terrorism investigation in the history of the United States—the post-9/11 anthrax mailings which killed five people, and spread terror and panic in the populace.

Best Buds Mueller and Comey Target Trump

May 22, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

The Washington Post, a mouthpiece for Obama holdovers in the CIA and other agencies, reports that “sources” say a current White House official is under investigation as “a significant person of interest” in Russia-gate, but that the sources “would not further identify the official.”

This is a case of anonymous officials talking about an anonymous official.

Interestingly, the term “person of interest” was used by the FBI against scientist Steven Hatfill in the post-9/11anthrax letters case. He was totally innocent and the Department of Justice paid him $5.8 million in damages.

Ivanka Thinks Liberals Will Like Her Father

May 20, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

One of the side effects of the anti-Trump liberal media propaganda is that many conservatives automatically jump to the President’s defense, even as he continues on a suicidal course, such as a scheduled Thursday meeting with news anchors. This is like a bleeding man jumping into the water with sharks, enticing them to engage in a feeding frenzy.

The only notion more naïve is that liberals will start to like Donald Trump if he does their bidding, such as allowing the U.S. to remain in President Obama’s Paris climate change agreement.

Remember that President Trump called global warming a “hoax,” and implied that he would pull the U.S. out of the agreement.

America’s Elected Government Hangs in the Balance

May 18, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Years ago I agreed to be interviewed for a film which was included in an exhibit for the national museum in Washington, D.C. known as the Newseum. It was on the use of anonymous sources. In the film, which is still playing, I cautioned about their use, saying that they can be inaccurate or even non-existent, and that they reduce trust in the news media.

Today, the use of anonymous sources has accelerated, and the “sources” being used against President Donald Trump are now openly acknowledged as coming from U.S. intelligence agencies such as the FBI, CIA and NSA.

Not surprisingly, questions about the motives of sources are seldom, if ever, examined by the media that rely on them.

Even when anonymous sources supposedly come forward and identity themselves, there is doubt. The Newseum staged an exhibit on Watergate, the scandal that brought down President Richard Nixon, and focused on Mark Felt, who was second in command of the FBI at the time. The story is that he “broke his silence and ended the decades-long mystery” about the identity of “Deep Throat,” the alleged anonymous source who helped Washington Post journalists Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein.

Why Do Conservatives Publish Fake News?

May 16, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

A recent National Review article asked, “How Do You Keep False Information Away from the President?” Unfortunately, another article on the same site by editor Rich Lowry, a Fox News commentator, began by quoting from The Washington Post, but added the qualifier, “if true.” It erroneously referred to Justice Department official Rod Rosenstein threatening to quit over the firing of FBI director James Comey. An “update” was attached to another Lowry column on the same subject which reported, “Rosenstein says he’s not quitting and he didn’t threaten to quit.”

It’s a common mistake to assume that news stories based on anonymous sources may be true because they sound authoritative. The sheer volume of misinformation is enough to confuse and mislead anyone. Conservative media fall into the trap by too frequently accepting and reacting to what appears in the liberal media. This is why the liberal media maintain their dominance and occupy so many positions of prominence at the Drudge Report.

Dismantling the Marxist Madrassas

May 16, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Changing academia has been much more difficult than changing the media. However, there is hope: President Donald Trump has asked Liberty University President Jerry Falwell Jr. to head a White House task force on reforming the U.S. higher education system.

While the appointment has been known about since January, the selection took on more significance in view of Falwell’s remarks when presenting Trump with an honorary Doctorate of Laws at the school’s commencement ceremony on Saturday. Falwell said, “He deserves our respect and admiration for enduring relentless and often dishonest attacks from the media, the establishment on the left and the right, and from academia.”

Trump Outsmarts the Media, Again

May 11, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Nobody does it better than President Donald Trump. That is, drive the media crazy. And The Washington Post has gone nuts in reacting to the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

Remember that Comey botched the Hillary email and Trump/Russia investigations, using in the latter the discredited “Trump Dossier” of gossip that the anti-Trump intelligence community couldn’t even verify.

Comey was in over his head, as we demonstrated in part one of our series, “The final Truth about the Trump Dossier.” He had to resign or be fired.

Washington Post Encourages Anti-Trump Protests

May 11, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Not content with publishing a daily barrage of anti-Trump articles, The Washington Post is now encouraging demonstrations against the President. On Wednesday afternoon, the Post published a special story, “Amid questions about Russia-Trump ties, protesters rally in front of the White House,” about a few dozen people with anti-Trump signs.

The real purpose of the article was to promote what are supposed to be much larger “March for Truth” demonstrations in Washington and New York on June 3. The objective, the paper claimed, is to call “for more transparency in possible Trump and Russia connections.”

“Diversity and Inclusion” Claim Another Victim

May 9, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

As noted by Peter LaBarbera of Lifesitenews.com, LGBT activists were bitter and outraged that a conservative Christian with a public policy record of opposing the LGBTQ agenda was chosen to succeed a homosexual for the job of secretary of the Army. That is why a dishonest attack on Dr. Mark Green, a West Point grad and decorated U.S. Army flight surgeon, was launched by the Huffington Post, as well as other media and gay rights organizations.

“Green engendered significant opposition to his nomination after HuffPost first reported on comments he had made about the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer community,” said the far-left, openly anti-Trump publication.

Trump Protester Harassed, Assaulted, and Arrested at Climate March

May 5, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

After chants of “Lock Her Up,” a peaceful pro-Trump protester was harassed, assaulted and then arrested at last Saturday’s Peoples Climate March in Washington, D.C. Police told me to back off as I recorded their rough treatment of Rita Solon, a local resident, who was simply holding a “Make America Great Again” banner and walking back and forth.

Later, Solon says she was harshly treated in a Washington, D.C. jail by police and suffered serious injuries on the inside of her left arm that required her to be taken to the hospital, as well as other related injuries. This happened, she said, when police pulled her from her cell with such force that they broke a bone in her elbow. The injuries required her to be taken to the George Washington Medical Center emergency room for treatment in a waist chain with handcuffs and leg irons.

The Role of the CIA’s John Brennan

May 3, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

A Special Report from the Accuracy in Media Center for Investigative Journalism; Cliff Kincaid, Director
In its lengthy feature article on FBI Director James Comey, The New York Times disingenuously evades the new evidence from the British press that nails former President Barack Obama’s CIA Director John Brennan for using the “Trump dossier” as weaponized fake intelligence, which he wielded to spearhead an interagency task force to investigate Trump during and after the election campaign. The Times article’s sole mention of Brennan suppresses any mention of its own reporting by three of the same reporters on January 19 about the six-agency, anti-Trump task force or working group (and naturally there is no investigative reporting to dig into the task force’s scandalous operations).

But, of course, that was the same New York Times article, in its January 20 print edition, that headlined the “Wiretapped…Trump Aides.” The Times wants to forget all about that, now that President Trump has made the Obama “wire tapping” an issue.

Where are the Sex Tapes?

May 2, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

A Special Report from the Accuracy in Media Center for Investigative Journalism; Cliff Kincaid, Director

CNN’s report on FBI Director James Comey’s promotion of the “Trump dossier” makes no mention of the dossier’s fake claim of a sex-tape (which wasn’t actually made or seen by anyone), which supposedly caught Trump in a “compromising” act in Moscow. The disgusting “sex perversion” allegation now seems to be getting dropped as an embarrassment since it never got any traction, unlike the fake claim of a Russian conspiracy with Trump, which persists like a cancer.

“If a story isn’t playing well or if there is too much credible pushback, the perpetrators simply move on without apology or correction.” That is what The Washington Post said in explaining how Russian “kompromat,” or “compromising,” material works in the media. They seem unaware of the supreme irony since it perfectly describes the Post’s own anti-Trump playbook in perpetrating the weaving of conspiracy theories involving Russia and Trump based on the “dossier.”

The Final Truth about the “Trump Dossier”

May 2, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

A Special Report from the Accuracy in Media Center for Investigative Journalism; Cliff Kincaid, Director

FBI Director James Comey has been caught going around to secret Congressional briefings in “recent weeks” touting the lurid fake “Trump dossier.” He has been claiming that it is a major foundation of the FBI’s investigation of purported Russian collusion with Trump to interfere in the election—months after the FBI had already assessed the “dossier” as non-credible.

Comey seems not to grasp the nature of the damage he’s inflicting on the Bureau and its reputation for efficient information-gathering and law enforcement. He is lost in a “wilderness of mirrors,” to use intelligence jargon popularized by the CIA’s legendary anti-communist mole-hunter James Jesus Angleton.

Racism Claims a Cover for Fox News Purge?

May 1, 2017 — Cliff Kincaid

Sexual harassment and now racial discrimination complaints are providing the excuses James Murdoch may need to purge the conservative news personalities who have made the Fox News Channel a success.

James Murdoch is the liberal son of Fox News parent company owner Rupert Murdoch and one of the heirs to his father’s media empire. His wife, who despises conservatives and President Donald Trump personally, was a major figure in the Clinton Climate Initiative project.
