DNC staffer Seth Rich spoke with WikiLeaks before he was murdered

May 17, 2017 — James Simpson

Seth Rich, the Democrat National Committee staffer murdered last summer on Capitol Hill, was speaking with WikiLeaks before he died, according to new reports.

Not satisfied with the pace or direction of the D.C. police investigation, the Rich family hired private detective Rod Wheeler to seek answers. That Rich was in touch with WikiLeaks is just one of the explosive claims Detective Wheeler has made.

The as-yet unsolved murder has been characterized as a botched robbery by D.C. police, even though evidence doesn’t actually point to a robbery. Rich was shot on July 10, 2016 after an apparent struggle, but his wallet, credit cards, cellphone and wristwatch were not taken.

HAMAS Charter redux: Can a leopard change its spots?

May 15, 2017 — James Simpson

One of Israel’s key demands of Palestinians is that the Jewish state be recognized as legitimate. This month the Palestinian terrorist group HAMAS published a revised charter that purports to show the organization has moderated because it dropped the call for Israel’s destruction contained in its original 1988 charter. The new charter contains flowery language about democracy and civil rights “for all,” and makes no mention of the Muslim Brotherhood, even though in the 1988 document it defined itself as a wing of the Muslim Brotherhood. Despite these superficial changes the fundamental goals of HAMAS have not changed.

For decades the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) and HAMAS (an Arabic acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement) have played a good cop-bad cop routine on the world stage, with PLO as the “good cop” and HAMAS as the bad. While the PLO has engaged in endless negotiations to “resolve the Palestinian issue,” HAMAS has conducted a virtually non-stop campaign of terror. The West’s efforts to broker a solution highlight the absurd fantasy of this political dance, for how could the PLO ever broker any kind of agreement with Israel while HAMAS plainly rejects all peace efforts? And how are we to take the PLO seriously when its operatives raise their children to be suicide bombers?

Paul Ryan and friends subverting healthcare reform and Trump

Mar 31, 2017 — James Simpson

Donald Trump is being very poorly served by at least one of his most senior advisors, and it is not difficult to tell which one.

Yesterday the president tweeted out a threat to members of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, warning them that they had to get on board with his agenda or else.

Why is swamp queen Jamie Gorelick advising Jared Kushner?

Mar 26, 2017 — James Simpson

BombThrowers:
Recent headlines announced Ivanka Trump would obtain a coveted office in the West Wing of the White House. Breitbart reported on March 20 that, according to Ivanka’s “ethics advisor,” she “will not have an official title, but will get a West Wing office, government-issued communications devices and security clearance to access classified information.” That is curious enough on its own.

But the stunning part is the name of the ethics advisor. The same person also advises Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, who does have a formal position as a senior White House advisor.

This new advisor’s name is Jamie Gorelick.

The Flight 93 election: And what of it?

Mar 15, 2017 — James Simpson

I recently consumed a column by Intercept writer Peter Maass titled “Dark essays by White House staffer are the intellectual source code of Trumpism.”

The target of his invective was Michael Anton, strategic communications director for President Trump’s National Security Council. Last September, Anton wrote a widely read column under the pen name Publius Decius Mus titled “The Flight 93 Election” for the Claremont Institute Review of Books, an intellectually rigorous conservative periodical. It is an excellent exposition of our nation’s condition today, and if you have not already read it, I suggest you do so now.

But Maass saw in it nothing but stupid conspiracy theories and absurd analogies, to wit:

Is political correctness killing U.S. institutions?

Mar 1, 2017 — James Simpson

The concept of “political correctness,” or PC, goes back more than a half century. Over time PC has changed America for the worse. It was invented not to expand discussions but to prevent them through peer pressure and intimidation.

The origins and continuing implications of PC were part of a high-profile panel discussion at the 2017 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) held in a Maryland suburb of Washington, D.C., over this past weekend.

This fascinating panel met on the main stage at CPAC and featured moderator Jan Riordan of the Lynde and Harry Bradley Foundation, along with a panel consisting of Fox News contributor and Conservative Review columnist Tom Borelli, U.S. Rep. Francis Rooney (R-Fla.), College Republican National Committee chairman Alex Smith, and Capital Research Center president Scott Walter. It was a wide-ranging discussion, delving into the history of political correctness, its impact in culture and business, the dumbing down of education, and what the future may hold.

Bannon: Keeping fighting because it will get worse before it gets better

Mar 1, 2017 — James Simpson

Just because Donald Trump is in the White House armed with a Republican-controlled Congress doesn’t mean the Left will wave the white flag and let him implement his agenda, two senior administration officials told the recent Conservative Political Action Conference.

Chief White House strategist Stephen K. Bannon and White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus joined CPAC chairman Matt Schlapp on the CPAC main stage Thursday to discuss President Trump’s agenda for America. Bannon predicted that as conditions steadily improve under Trump’s leadership, as they already have begun to do, the Left will not go quietly into this good night. (A transcript of the conversation is available here.)

Trevor Loudon at CPAC 2017

BombThrowers: CPAC was treated to a rare event on Thursday. Intrepid researcher and investigative journalist Trevor Loudon offered his insightful perspective on the current state of political affairs in a panel discussion titled “When Did WW III Begin?” Trevor was joined on stage by Daily Caller columnist Ginni Thomas, Milwaukee County, Wisc., Sheriff David Clarke, former CIA operative Clare Lopez, and Maureen Ohlhausen, acting chairman of the FTC.

Unsung cultural icon dies

Feb 21, 2017 — James Simpson

BombThrowers: Norma McCorvey, better known as “Jane Roe” of the landmark Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, died Saturday at 69.

Many people have never heard her real name. Many also don’t know that she never actually had an abortion, or that she regretted her role in launching the abortion infanticide that has killed over 58 million babies since 1973, or that she spent the last 22 years of her life advocating her pro-life position.

In 1969, the 22-year-old McCorvey was living in Texas, unemployed and pregnant for the third time. Texas law forbade abortion except when the mother’s life was in danger. At the urging of two young, activist lawyers, Sarah Weddington and Linda Coffee, who wanted to challenge the Texas law, McCorvey used the “Jane Doe” pseudonym when she sued Dallas County District Attorney Henry Wade (D).

VIDEO: Black Lives Matter: racist provocation with radical roots

At the time of this writing, prosecutors had just dropped charges against the last three of six police officers accused in the death of Baltimore drug dealer Freddie Gray. The decision closes an ugly chapter in that sad story, in which the highly politicized Baltimore City state’s attorney, Marilyn Mosby, accused them of murder. The city descended into days of violence and destruction after Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake infamously gave space to rioters “who wished to destroy.  But that riot was only one chapter in a still-evolving story of death and destruction provoked by a false narrative of oppression and police brutality.

The Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner-city frustration, but it is in fact the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded socialist/communist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades.

BLM claims to be non-violent. According to its website (BlackLivesMatter.com), “The Black Lives Matter Network advocates for dignity, justice, and respect. ...Black activists have raised the call for an end to violence, not an escalation of it.”

Reds Exploiting Blacks: The Roots of Black Lives Matter

Jan 12, 2016 — James Simpson

This is a report from the AIM Center for Investigative Journalism

The Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner city frustration, but is, in fact, the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded communist/socialist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades. Its agitation has provoked police killings and other violence, lawlessness and unrest in minority communities throughout the U.S. If allowed to continue, that agitation could devolve into anarchy and civil war. The BLM crowd appears to be spoiling for just such an outcome.

Flooding the Nation with ‘Syrian Refugees’: American Lives Matter

Sep 22, 2015 — James Simpson

The serially dishonest administration, represented abysmally by Haute Moron Secretary of State, John Kerry, has haughtily announced that for FY 2016, starting October 1, the administration is raising the refugee cap from its previous 70,000 to 85,000, this year, and up to 100,000 next year, all to make room for Syrian “refugees.” Two weeks ago he told members of Congress the administration wanted to bring in 10,000 Syrians. Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley responded with a letter asking Kerry to clarify.

Trump Was Right

Donald Trump has been roundly criticized by both Democrats and Republicans for saying that 80 percent of women crossing the border are being raped. NBC decided to drop his popular show, “The Apprentice,” and the Miss Universe pageant he produces. Mexico says it will withdraw its entrant to the pageant based on Trump’s offensive statements. ESPN, NASCAR and others have piled on. But Trump was just quoting an article from Fusion magazine. The piece, “Is rape the price to pay for migrant women chasing the American Dream?,” leads off by saying:

“Before they can reach the American Dream, many migrant women have to survive a Mexican nightmare. A staggering 80 percent of Central American girls and women crossing Mexico en route to the United States are raped along the way, according to directors of migrant shelters interviewed by Fusion.”

The United States allows 70,000 people from all over the world to obtain legal permanent residence through our Refugee Program—one of the most generous in the world. We also bring in another 40,000 or so through the Asylum program. Then there is the Special Immigrant Visa for people from Iraq and Afghanistan—about 10,000 in FY 2014—and a Cuban/Haitian Entrant program bringing in another 20,000 annually. That adds up to about 140,000.

Did Freddie Gray have spinal surgery one week ago?

Apr 29, 2015 — James Simpson

Examiner
Conservative Treehouse is reporting that Freddie Gray, Jr., the man whose death in police custody set off this weekend’s Baltimore riots, may have had spinal surgery just one week earlier. Court records unearthed by the Fourth Estate describe a structured settlement with Allstate Insurance Co. which they allege came from a car accident Gray was involved in. Fourth Estate claims to be releasing a story today at 6 pm that will blow the case wide open.

Another expensive stimulus project on the rocks

The Obama administration is urgently trying to stave off a $154.6 million disaster as a federally funded emergency communications plan neared collapse last week in America’s second largest city. This is the largest project of its kind ever attempted, and the model for a nationwide network with a future now clouded in doubt.

Gay Marriage: A Trojan Horse Movement

Look at our country today. With manufactured crisis Strategist-in-Chief Obama, we are almost there, and Cloward and Piven’s intellectual descendants were out in force in Ferguson. The communist agitators seeking “social justice” for Michael Brown burned down much of the neighborhood. Do black lives matter to them? Apparently not. And they have even said so. The issue is not the issue.

Black Criminals, White Victims, and White Guilt

The media have relentlessly fanned the flames of racial hatred, while engaging in a systematic pattern of misinformation and blatant suppression of facts surrounding the perpetrators and victims of crime. As a result, so-called “criminal justice reform” is now being proposed to release more criminals from jails, supposedly to make amends for the unjust “mass incarceration” of black men.
