In 2020, the early Democratic primaries were disastrous for former Vice President Joe Biden. He lost the first few states and there was real concern that socialist U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) would become the party’s presidential nominee.
On January 8, the red state of Louisiana is finally going to be led by a conservative Republican as Governor. In the October gubernatorial primary, Attorney General Jeff Landry defeated fifteen other candidates. He will be inheriting a state with massive problems, made worse by outgoing Governor, John Bel Edwards, a leftwing Democrat.
Americans are blessed to have constitutional rights, especially the First Amendment right of free speech. As Benjamin Franklin once wrote, whoever “would overthrow the Liberty of a Nation, must begin by subduing the Freeness of Speech.”
Free speech is central to liberty, and this belief underpins the necessity of the First Amendment. This amendment holds the powerful to account and protects the right of Americans to express themselves freely.
It is looking bleak for President Joe Biden and the Democrats. All the latest polls show Biden losing to President Donald Trump in a rematch of the 2020 election.
For example, the new Wall Street Journal poll shows Trump leading Biden 47-43%. It is Trump’s first lead over Biden in this poll. When third party candidates, such as Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., are included, Trump’s lead increases to a six point margin. Not only is Biden losing to Trump in the poll, but he is also suffering from the worst approval rating of his presidency at only 37%.
Until December 12, leftists from around the world will be meeting in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for COP28, the 28th annual meeting of the “Conference of Parties” of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
In the beginning, the conference attracted only 5,000 attendees; however, 70,000 people will attend this event. Ironically, many of the attendees will be flying into Dubai on their private jets. According to the Institute for Policy Studies, private jets emit ten times “more pollutants than commercial planes per passenger.”

In the post-World War II era, Democrats were labeled as the political party that represented average Americans. Democrats were credited with fighting for the rights of the working-class, minorities, women, and the disadvantaged.
Haven’t the American people seen enough of the also-ran GOP presidential candidates debating on national television? These candidates have been highly promoted by the liberal media but cannot seem to gain any traction with Republican voters.

The party establishment worked overtime to deny the nomination to Trump, yet the Republican voters overwhelmingly supported him. The resentment toward Trump and his supporters continued during his presidency and still exists today.

After his assassination in 1963, his brother, Robert F. Kennedy, who served as U.S. Attorney General and U.S. Senator from New York, became a leading presidential candidate in the 1968 Democratic Party nomination contest. Tragically, he was assassinated after winning the Democratic Party primary in California.
Joe Biden has never been an exceedingly popular politician on the national stage. In 1988, he made an early exit from the presidential race after allegations of plagiarism surfaced. He ran again twenty years later but finished near the bottom of the pack.
Biden was saved from national obscurity by Barack Obama who chose him as his running mate in 2008. He rode Obama’s coattails to eight years as Vice President. Unfortunately, for Biden, his tenure as Vice President was so unimpressive that at the end of his term, Democratic Party insiders overlooked him and chose Hillary Clinton as their presidential nominee.
The nightmare started in July of 1980 at the GOP convention in Detroit. After negotiations with former President Gerald Ford for a coequal ticket failed, the party’s nominee, Ronald Reagan, turned to his vanquished competitor to unite the party. He chose George H.W. Bush as his running-mate and the rest is history.
Reagan was a principled conservative, an excellent communicator and a once in a generation leader. His two terms were extremely successful, and he left office with high approval ratings and eight years of impressive accomplishments.
After another embarrassing international trip to the G20 summit and to Vietnam, Joe Biden will become the first American President not to memorialize the 2,977 victims of the 9/11 terrorist attack on our country with an event on the mainland. He is commemorating the day at a military base in Alaska, where he just canceled oil and gas leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR).
U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) was first elected to his position in 1984. Thereafter, the voters of Kentucky elected him another six times, with his last victory occurring in 2020. Nonetheless, at the age of eighty-one, there are questions about whether McConnell will be able to serve the entirety of his latest six-year term, which does not end until 2026.
Stepping out to meet reporters during his latest vacation, President Joe Biden was loudly booed by spectators in South Lake Tahoe, CA.
Why was he booed? Maybe it was because of how he has weaponized the justice system to target President Donald Trump and his supporters, such as the January 6th protesters.
It might have been his decision to end our energy independence, declare war on the oil and gas industry, shutdown the Keystone XL pipeline and cause gasoline prices to skyrocket since the end of Trump’s term.
There are many reasons that the American people are angry today. Our schools are teaching adult sexual content to children, our borders are open, our economy is in horrible condition, and an unpopular “green” agenda is being imposed on the country. Against the wishes of the American people, the Biden administration keeps sending billions of dollars in military assistance to fight a proxy war against the Russians.
