Sarah Palin, Sally Quinn, and the Fascist Left

Jul 11, 2009 — Jim ONeill

Sally Quinn’s article about Governor Palin’s resignation announcement borders on the insulting.  Actually, it does more than “border”—it thrusts deeply into insulting territory.

Ms. Quinn says, in effect, that if Palin would just be a good Christian housewife, and stay home like good Christian wives are supposed to, then the attacks against Palin would stop.  It’s all Palin’s fault that she’s been so viciously attacked, so says Sally.

The American Spirit

Jul 3, 2009 — Jim ONeill

by Emmet Fox (1886-1951)

The task which each American has before them is to realize the American Dream in their own life, to the utmost that they are able, by making themselves personally free; free in body, and soul, and spirit.

Rules for Radicals: A Blurred Vision

imageEveryone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”  Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910)

The “guardrails” that have guided our culture towards moral and civil behavior have been removed, and the lines between right and wrong have become blurred.
Senator Joseph Lieberman (From the foreword to Richard Land’s “The Divided States of America?”)

Saul Alinsky’s book “Rules for Radicals,” first published in 1971, has been read and assimilated by a number of those who espouse a Far Left agenda.  Our current Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, wrote her senior thesis on Alinsky while at Wellesley College.  The following excerpt is from that paper.

Country First

Jan 20, 2009 — Jim ONeill

The United States of America has a new Commander and Chief.  A new President that I did my best to see defeated in his bid for the Presidency.  So, how am I dealing with it?  How do I feel about it?

A Birthday Gift: The 11th Commandment

She Sells to Sea-Thugs by the Seashore

Nov 29, 2008 — Jim ONeill

imageWhat’s the story with those pirates off the Horn of Africa?  Who’s behind it?  Where do they come from, and where do they go?  How do they do it, and how do they get away with it?  Why isn’t something being done about it?  What IS being done about it?  This article will attempt to answer those questions.

First, some facts: So far this year there have been 95 attempted ship seizures by pirates in the waters around the Horn of Africa, 39 of them successful.  Besides the ships, there are presently around 268 merchant seamen being held for ransom in Somalia.  The pirates have been paid around 30 million dollars this year in extortion fees.  They recently demanded 25 million dollars for the oil tanker Sirius Star.

Tough Love

Nov 8, 2008 — Jim ONeill

The Republican Party got what it deserved, and it needs a thorough, rigorous, and long-overdue #-kicking from top to bottom.  True, we just got one, compliments of the Democrats, but I’m talking about an in-house job.

Stand Up and Vote!

With the election at hand, I thought that a few historical quotes might be inspirational as we “gird our lions” and prepare to vote.

Don’t Vote for Obama by Default

“If destruction be our lot, we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of freemen, we must live through all time, or die by suicide.”Abraham Lincoln

When Obama says that he wants to “spread the wealth around” we can, for once, take him at his word.

An Obama Antidote

Oct 25, 2008 — Jim ONeill

“If you will not fight for the right when you can easily win without bloodshed; if you will not fight when your victory will be sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a small chance of survival. There may even be a worse case: you may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves.  The price of freedom is eternal vigilance.” —Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)

Bad Moon Arising

Oct 24, 2008 — Jim ONeill

“I see the bad moon arising.  I see trouble on the way.”
The above lyric by Creedence Clearwater Revival pretty well sums up my feelings about post-election America.  Enjoy the calm before the storm, while you can.

McCain is the One

Oct 21, 2008 — Jim ONeill

The upcoming election is not about whether you favor a left leaning government, or one leaning to the right.  It’s about whether you want to retain your freedom of speech, free elections, and our way of government.

The American People Aren’t Stupid

Oct 19, 2008 — Jim ONeill

“I mean you can’t just make stuff up. You can’t just recreate yourself. You can’t just reinvent yourself. The American people aren’t stupid.”  - Barack Obama, Flint, Michigan September 8, 2008

I am convinced that Obama with his Marxist and Islamic friends planned Obama’s Presidency many years ago, and that the game plan was something like this:

Playing Race Cards in a Brave New World

Oct 18, 2008 — Jim ONeill

I’m interested in the truth, not in slander.  I have been alarmed by a number of comments purportedly made by Senator Obama, only to find that many of these comments have been taken out of context, miss-quoted, miss-attributed, or are outright fabrications.  That is not to say that Obama has not said and done things that alarm me, but to assure you that I do my best to ensure that any quotes that I use in my articles are indeed factual.

A Clear and Present Danger

Oct 14, 2008 — Jim ONeill

Barack 'Pinocchio' ObamaWe may soon see a “clear and present danger” to the United States, become elected President of the United States.

Strange days, indeed.

Merriam Webster’s Dictionary of Law defines a “clear and present danger” as being “a risk or threat to safety or other public interests that is serious and imminent.”  You may be sure that Barack Obama’s agenda poses a serious and imminent threat to the United States.

Before I explain that charge, let me make a couple of facts very clear: I am not a right-wing extremist, nor am I a racist.  I don’t have much patience for left or right extremism, and I find racism of any type; moronic and evil.
