How to Annihilate U.S. Socialism and Force Washington to Listen

Aug 9, 2017 — John Anthony

Socialism’s barbs have sunk deep into the heart of America’s soul.  We see the Titanic struggle as Democrats and Republicans jointly hamper Trump’s attempts to return choices to the people. Washington will never willingly stop its progressive control, but we can make them.

As one who has studied the progressive/socialist movement from the Congressional halls to small communities across the country, I believe we have a rich opportunity to adapt an explosive method to defeat the anti-Constitutional forces in America.

Obama’s last ditch regulations that devastate your property rights

Mar 16, 2017 — John Anthony

In the final days of Obama’s presidency two rules slid under the radar that drive explosive local planning and building costs, transfer control of certain grant-related planning to the government, and render local officials helpless to combat them.

Federal agencies often enact onerous regulations by couching them in dry sounding names, or titles that appear so munificent only a dark-hearted bean counter would question them.

HUD’s poor need paths to wealth, not vouchers to affluent zip codes

Mar 1, 2017 — John Anthony

Rather than help low-income families learn the skills to succeed, HUD wants to move them into “opportunity rich neighborhoods” hoping pre-existing success rubs off.

With the new administration, HUD has an opening to help the poor escape poverty, reduce the pay gap, and eliminate a main cause that fuels America’s decade of increasing social clashes.

HUD’s 2016 program, Small Area Fair Market Rents, (SAFMR) relocates Section 8 recipients into upscale zip codes by increasing their voucher values.  The agency believes the current residents’ success will transfer to the newcomers.

HUD NEEDS FAITH INITIATIVES TO SHRINK POVERTY

Feb 24, 2017 — John Anthony

Since the 1964 Civil Rights Act was passed, The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) has expanded its mandate to enforce these laws by labeling everything that is not equal, from the educational experience and housing, to the relative wealth of your residential zip code, as discriminatory.

HUD, formed as part of President Johnson’s “Great Society,” has assumed the role of lifting the poor from poverty.  A “great” cause perhaps, but one which the agency is ill-equipped to administer.

This happens if Trump fails to rein in HUD

Feb 16, 2017 — John Anthony

If you want to know what will happen to your hometown if Trump allows the Department of Housing and Urban Development to continue its devastating control of local rule, look at Whitehall Township, Pennsylvania. It is the latest community to surrender to HUD’s aggressive tactics.

Much of the chaos we see in America today is designed to stop President Trump from dismantling the federal system of rampant waste, dishonesty, and bullying.  The largest “swamp” he must drain, is the embedded federal bureaucracy.

Trump can halt HUD’s AFFH, today!

Jan 24, 2017 — John Anthony

Yes, President Trump can halt HUD’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing program even before Dr. Carson is confirmed.

If you follow the news, you probably noticed that President Trump is moving quickly on his campaign promises.

You have also probably noticed that the Senate opposition is slow-walking his cabinet appointments to make it harder to for the president to address regulatory actions.

Draining the cultural swamp in our children’s minds

Jan 3, 2017 — John Anthony

While Donald Trump maneuvers to cleanse government’s cesspool, communities face a bigger challenge at home.

Academics, classroom teachers, newspapers and television, movie stars and the Cultural Arts are seducing our children into believing it is their duty to relinquish their rights for a coveted scrunch into the bloated backseat of the global collective.

Like a crafty Tom Sawyer, who made the drudgery of whitewashing Aunt Polly’s fence so glamorous his friends eagerly surrendered their apples, tadpoles and marbles for the honor, our government persuades Americans that loyalty to fairness, the environment and climate change outweighs their rights over their own property.

How Dr. Ben Carson can heal the wounds of Obama’s racism

Dec 15, 2016 — John Anthony

Barack Obama’s obsession with what he calls America’s “legacy of racism,” has been an EpiPen for the resuscitation of racial violence and discrimination burning across our country.

HUD often provides the platform for the President to act on his prejudices.

As Secretary of HUD, Dr. Carson’s background positions him to heal the aggravated wounds, encourage unity, and reduce rising inner city poverty.

God, Classrooms and Property Rights

Dec 6, 2016 — John Anthony

When our Founders wrote the Declaration of Independence, they knew that property rights were essential to freedom and prosperity.

Under the feudal system, Kings granted property to workers in turn for outstanding service. But the crown never completely surrendered its ownership

That is why our Declaration protects the people from erratic governments by turning to God as the origin for our rights.

An open letter to President-elect Trump

Nov 26, 2016 — John Anthony

Dear President-elect Trump:

Aware Americans want the federal government out of our healthcare, out of our schools and away from our property rights and community rule.

President-elect Trump, we are tired of politicians’ lies. That is why we voted you into office.

A Trump Strategy to Neuter HUD’s Attacks on Local Rule

Nov 15, 2016 — John Anthony

When President Reagan took office in 1980, he promised to reduce the number of federal agencies and rules. Eight years later, his Presidential Task Force on Regulatory Relief failed to eliminate a single agency or even one of the thousands of federal regulations.

Today, President-elect Trump has promised to stop HUD’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing and reduce all regulations by 70%.

Unfortunately, it cannot be done with a “phone and a pen.”

How HUD Makes Lousy Programs Look Great

Oct 27, 2016 — John Anthony

When federal agencies promote programs, like Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing, or Common Core they conduct sophisticated and often deceptive marketing campaigns that cover up there downsides.

Flowery slogans like, “transportation options are fundamental to having a shot at the American Dream,” and “Economic diversity is the path to better outcomes for all American children,” may sound moving.  The truth about the programs is often disturbing.

The Department of Education (USED) and DOT use the above phrases to market a federal scheme to regionalize and densify communities by shuffling students to new communities in the name of “income diversity.”  (ID is the government’s buzzword for a student’s path to success.)

Gutting America’s Socialism

Oct 20, 2016 — John Anthony

With or without Hillary at the helm, we can stop socialism in America.

Recently, Sustainable Freedom Lab hosted a three-part podcast series called Socialism in America. Our guests had travelled to over 70 countries, lived under socialism and communism and even begun businesses worldwide and in the United States. We had a software installation expert who works closely with project teams in socialist countries and is in a unique position to understand what these workers think of the United States.

The information these people shared left no doubt that our country has left free market capitalism in the rearview mirror and rocketed into our own brand of socialism.

The 9/11 Message that Terrifies Washington

Sep 11, 2016 — John Anthony

Perhaps the greatest attribute of the American spirit is that even in the aftershocks of the worst wreckage, we seek to learn.  Rather than flounder in horrors that should have never happened, we pursue ways to assure they will not again.

September 11, 2001 provided what may be Americans’ greatest opportunity to learn.

In the weeks following 9/11 Americans regained camaraderie and national pride.  Race issues receded, government protected groups found less need for protection, American flags waved from car roofs and highway overpasses.  The quiet made friends and the typically thoughtless made way for strangers.

How HUD Tramples Liberal Voters to Boost the Liberal Elite

Sep 5, 2016 — John Anthony

When HUD threatens communities with lawsuits and civil rights reviews, don’t expect political affiliations to help.  Don’t expect discrimination to erode either.  HUD has a different end in mind.

Through their Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing rule, the agency uses threats of lawsuits and the withholding of grant funds to control local zoning and land use. In Rockford, IL, the agency even forced the town council to reverse the voters’ decision not to move forward with an affordable housing project.

Most of the AFFH’s heavy-handed tactics target cities and counties receiving HUD grants.
