Word TV Back on Air - Now Censored

imageWord TV is pleased to announce that it will resume broadcasting on CTS this Sunday evening at 11:00 p.m. however all programs will now be pre-screened and censored. On December 8th, 2010, the Canadian Broadcast Standards Council announced an indefinite blacklisting of Charles McVety and the show, Word TV. The Council’s heavy hand of censorship followed months of deliberations in secret. The Council made its final, furtive decision on June 22, 2010. But the Council held back release of its decision until just before Christmas. This is when most Canadians would be pre-occupied with holiday preparations. It was as if the Council had much to hide.

Leaders Pledge to Stop Bill C-389 From Exposing Our Children to Perverts

Private Member’s Bill C-389 - An Act to amend the Canadian Human Rights Act and the Criminal Code (gender identity and gender expression) is on the verge of becoming law. If passed, it will add these terms to the list of identifiable groups listed in sections 318 and 718.2(a)(i) of the criminal code and the Canadian Human Rights Act.

One Year Minimum Sentences for Child Rapists is Not Acceptable

The Institute for Canadian Values and other pro-family groups have demanded change to Canada’s criminal code to protect our children from sex abuse. Today the Minister of Justice Rob Nicholson presented new legislation increasing minimum sentences from 14 days to 1 year for a child rapist.

Christians Concerned that Islamic Forces will Dampen Canada’s Support for Israel

In light of Canada's failed bid to gain a seat at the UN Security Council we are concerned that Prime Minister Stephen Harper will concede to the immense pressure brought to bear against him by Islamic forces in Canada and abroad. It has been reported that the entire Islamic bloc of 57 countries voted against Canada. In order to gain the seat Canada would have had to secure 95% of the remaining votes. Canada achieved 114 votes representing 84% of the non Muslim states.

On Monday, October 4th the Department of National Defence is set to hold a celebration at its Ottawa headquarters to commemorate Islamic Heritage Month. The keynote speaker will be Imam Dr. Zijad Delic, executive director of the Canadian Islamic Congress, an organization well known for its radicalism.

Mr. McGuinty, Withdraw Explicit Sex Ed for 8 year olds

Leaders from various family focused groups with over 100,000 active members are calling for Premier Dalton McGuinty to withdraw the new Ontario Sex Education Curriculum, set to be implemented this September. The leaders are organizing Ontario parents to protest the new program by withdrawing their children from school on the Monday after Mother’s Day, May 10th and joining a proposed rally in at 12:00 noon in Toronto. Canadian Prime Minister Delivers Global Governance Plan

During the January 2010 World Economic Summit in Davos Switzerland Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the current Chairman of the G-20, presented the upcoming agenda for the G-20 and G-8 meetings to be held in Ontario in June. Many were shocked to hear this Conservative leader declare that “we also know markets need governance. For the new global economy, the G-20 is what we have.” Harper went on to speak as an avowed Keynesian committed to a one world global economy, creating a world “we have been trying to build since 1945”.
