Our Underground Economy

This was followed by a second email (en inglés esta vez) which apologized for the previous email and offered me a 15% discount on my next rental. As nice as it is to receive a discount on an expensive service, these emails raise two questions: why is Enterprise sending emails in Spanish to its customers, and why the apology and discount offer?
