END THE WITCH-HUNT

I don’t know about you, but for me, the names of James Comey and Robert Mueller have become symbolic of a delusional paranoia to where I am continuously overwhelmed by a chronic persecution complex as though these two were following me around everywhere I go – mind you, not nice at all. Time to go to the shrink maybe. To add insult to injury, as far as I am concerned, every day there seems to be a new twist in the infamous investigation of the alleged collusion of Donald Trump with Russia in the interference of the latter with the 2016 Presidential elections.

State of the Union

Nearly 46 million people -- not including the internet--watched President Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, January 30th. Chances are you were one of them, I bet – I know I did. Got to tell you folks, every time I write about politics and political themes, most of the time, if not all the time, I do so because I feel compelled to speak out – that simple.

The Harvey Weinstein Saga

Well folks, what can I tell you about this despicable Harvey Weinstein animal that hasn’t been already told? For a week now, this low-life Weinstein has been at center stage, playing the leading role in a sexual harassment scandal which has gotten more attention than the Las Vegas Massacre and the N.F.L., anthem kneeling story both put together – but, don’t kid yourselves, there is a good reason for it.

I don’t know about you, but after what transpired in Las Vegas last Sunday, October 1st, we must all ask ourselves, what is our world coming to? What kind of a world are we living in – a world, I should say, capable of nurturing such hatred as that fostered by this Las Vegas’ animal Stephen Paddock.

Thoughts on the Passing of Irma

First, my best wishes to all my friends in the State of Florida, where I have resided since October 1960 when I first left my native island of Cuba. I pray that you all came out unharmed from the devastation left behind by hurricane Irma – potentially one of the worst hurricanes in U.S. history. If you, like me, just had “minor” damages such as fallen trees, fences, or otherwise are going through a power-outage and are suffering heat-strokes and panic attacks due to hotness in the aftermath of Irma, just count your blessings.

The Charlottesville Rally

August 11^th and 12^th, Charlottesville, Virginia-- The "Unite the Right" rally, a/k/a the "Charlottesville rally". Just another rally, maybe? Presumably, the First Amendment of the Constitution explicitly provides for the 'right of the people to peaceably assemble and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances'. Oh, but wait, one very crucial point in all this verbiage, is the key word "peaceably" - inclined or disposed to avoid strife or dissension; not argumentative or hostile.

The Comey Circus

As you all may have heard, last month, on Sunday, May 21st, Ringling Bros. Barnum & Bailey Circus, billed as “The Greatest Show on Earth”, received a standing ovation on its final performance after 146 years in existence. For many of us baby boomers, the show became a part of our lives, as most of us in our childhood looked forward every year to the Circus coming to town.

Case you missed it, last Friday, after a prolonged post-election Sabbatical, Hillary Rodham Clinton emerged to give a commencement speech at her alma mater Wellesley College, located west of Boston – [the] birthplace of Clinton’s socialist / communist ideals. Back 48 years after her radical rendezvous with community organizer and renown U.S. hater Saul Alinsky, we got to see this loser disguised in a cap and gown, giving a s hate-simmered fiery address alluding to the controversies swirling around Donald Trump’s imperiled presidency, comparing it to Richard Nixon’s demise.

Depending on your viewing preference, whether you, like me, are addicted to Fox News or whether you prefer “fake” news, such as CNN and MSNBC, the term used by Donald Trump to describe these two liberal mainstream media outlets, as he on Saturday told a boisterous crowd of supporters at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.

America’s Resurgence

As you might or might not have noticed, I have taken, as of late, another Sabbatical from writing my customary blogs on Facebook and Canada Free Press [CFP], which I typically do at such times when I am overwhelmed by all that is going on around me, in these very critical times in we live.

Thoughts on the Death of Dictator Fidel Castro

It was about 1:00 a.m., Saturday night, when my wife woke me up to tell me of the passing of Fidel Castro. As I was still half-sleep, and in lieu of the fact that, in our wishful ways, we, the Cuban-Americans in exile, had killed Castro many times over in the past, the “Cry Wolf” syndrome kicked-in as a ‘defense mechanism’ to spare me the emotional roller coaster, which had made us, time and time again, go from exhilarating highs to lugubrious downs as we realized we were always dealing with grapevine rumors, if only to be incredibly disappointed at the end.

Let Go…Please!

Hi friends. For a while there, I thought that Trump’s triumph would have me laying low as far having not much to say, politically speaking that is, as I thought, really, we were lacking talking points, other than perhaps, say, some trivial ‘transition-process’ issues, not quite as exhilarating as we had gotten used to, throughout the presidential campaign, especially at the tail-end of it, as all of you Neo-Marxists did take for granted that your corrupt candidate would win it all, did you not?

Lessons To Be Learned

Well, first, I want to congratulate every single one of you out there who voted for Donald Trump. I forgot the last time in my life where I felt so electrifying overjoyed – one which typically comes with something great happening albeit, something totally startling and unexpected such as was Donald Trump’s triumph on November 8th, 2016 – a date which shall go down in the annals of history as the day the United States of America was reborn.

My Last Plea

Unbeknownst to many Americans, October 28th, 2016, may very well go down in the history books as an unprecedented political milestone –one which may, in fact, change the course of history of this great land of ours, the United States of America. I refer, if you will, to the contentious announcement made on this date by James B. Comey, acting Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation [FBI], on the re-opening of the earlier investigation conducted by this agency, regarding the alleged illegal use of her private server by aspiring presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, while in her role as Secretary of State, commonly referred to as the “e-mail” scandal.

Game Over

Yes, friends, anyone who has been following the presidential campaign over the past couple of weeks, even the most praetorian republicans amongst us, have to realize that the time has come fess-up to reality while understanding that candidate Donald Trump will never become the next president of this great land of ours. That is right, I said Trump will never be our next president, meaning Hillary Clinton will become the first woman ever to hold that office in the history of the nation.

The Great Debate

Once again, let me preface my comments and thoughts on the Hofstra presidential debate by making it very clear to you all that, I am, first and foremost a staunch republican, a tried-and-true conservative and a steadfast supporter of Donald Trump to be the next president of the United States of America.

I Hope I am Wrong

As you may or may not have noticed, during the past few months, I decided to take a brief political sabbatical, and managed to stay away from my passionate dissertations designed to kindle that American spirit which made this country the great nation it once was--a spirit which, I am sorry to say, has all but vanished amidst an incomprehensible wave of, again, unfathomable events.
