KISSING off speculation on Obama’s birth certificate

I have been asked by several readers to stick to subjects that apply only to organized crime and political corruption within Las Vegas. However, these E-Briefs are nationally distributed, and I regularly receive pertinent information from sources outside Las Vegas. The last time I checked, Las Vegas is inside the United States of America, and therefore the following information will definitely affect the welfare of my city, and is qualified to be included in these INSIDE VEGAS E-Briefs.

I have more government and community experience than Barak Obama

Though I'm not running for President, it's interesting to note that I personally have more experience as an elected or appointed government official, and as a volunteer community organizer than presidential candidate Barak Obama. Therefore, I believe I'm very qualified to post the following comparison, and render an opinion.

One year ago tonight

The following AmericanMafia.com INSIDE VEGAS column described an event that took place one year ago tonight. Since that time, the Crazy Horse Too has remained dark, and in approximately eight hours -- at midnight tonight -- the adult use zoning for the address will permanently expire rendering the property to never again be operated as a topless bar. Thanks to the Las Vegas City Council, and US Judge Philip Pro, the violence is finally over.

Buffalo Jim buried, but not put to rest - Part One

LAS VEGAS - Today, the bravest man I've ever known lies six feet under the desert floor on North Main Street in downtown Las Vegas. My best friend James "Buffalo Jim" Barrier called me at 5:30, Saturday, April 5, the evening of his death. He said he had just got back from his office where he picked up the following unsigned letter. "Steve, read the part about he's using people to get close to me, and about the female. I always knew that getting me into a compromising situation with a girl in a hotel room would be an invitation for me to get killed. I'm smarter than them. I know better."

Hillary - Judged by the company she keeps

Hillary ClintonLAS VEGAS - The Nevada caucus is over, but several issues emerged that help define the woman selected to be the state Democratic Party's nominee. First and foremost, it took dozens of translators stationed in the caucus locations to help the majority of Clinton supporters understand speeches and fill out their ballots. These "voters" who could neither speak nor write in our nation's language were asked (in Spanish) to sign a document attesting to the fact that they were in the United States legally. After obediently doing so, the majority voted for Hillary Clinton at caucus locations within the hotels where they're employed.
