I've been writing about all that is wrong in our country and how it went wrong for years now. Rather than repeating myself for benefit of those who have not been following along, please visit my archives and catch up with the rest of us. Now, for those of you who do realize that we are in a very real Constitutional Crisis here, which demands our immediate attention -- it's time to get on with the business of discussing appropriate viable solutions...

Treating the Illness instead of the Symptoms

The symptoms of the illness gripping our nation today are many. The tendency is to react to those symptoms issue-by-issue, rather than looking at the root cause of those symptoms and addressing the illness itself, head on.

  • The 5th Amendment is in crisis
  • The 9th Amendment is in crisis
  • The 10th Amendment is in crisis

  • Article I -- Section IX is in crisis
  • Article II -- Section I is in crisis
  • Article II -- Section II is in crisis
The list goes on and on. The entire US Constitution and the Constitutional Representative Republic and American way of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, is in crisis. These are only symptoms, not the illness itself. Fighting these symptoms one at a time is no longer an option. The illness has a death grip on our nation and it is manifesting itself in these forms. We can no longer afford to treat these symptoms while ignoring the illness at the root of these symptoms. The "take two aspirin and call me when the nation collapses" approach is no longer an acceptable strategy.

Identifying the Illness

I see no need in skirting the issue at this late date. Democratic Secular Socialism is the illness. At the moment, Democratic Secular Socialists have unfettered control of the US federal government and they are pounding the final nails in the coffin of individual freedom and liberty as we speak. Their strategy has been to attack on so many fronts so fast that the people hardly have the time to keep up, much less react in defense of the Constitution being dismantled daily. Led by the Congressional Progressive Caucus and Congressional Black Caucus, both of which are the legislative bodies of the Democratic Socialists of America, established by former members of the Communist Party USA ( CPUSA) and Socialist Party USA, with the sole agenda of controlling the old Democrat Party, the federal government has broken its contract (the US Constitution) with the 50 states and the people. At present, the US Constitution is only an historic document which no longer stands. The Fed now functions outside of its Constitutional authority, like a third world dictatorship, as if the people and the states serve at the pleasure of the Fed. But if the Constitution no longer stands, then neither does the federal government established by it. No greater crisis has ever existed in America. This is the illness that must be confronted immediately. Every symptom we see today is the direct result of this illness.

Treating the Illness

Only re-installing a constitutional federal government which serves at the pleasure of the people and their states can save the Representative Republic from certain ruin. The federal government will NOT reform itself. Though some Republicans and Blue Dog Democrats who are still respectful of the US Constitution might like to, they have no power to force reform in Washington DC today. The people are not able to fully organize fast enough to stop the current march to Marxism on their own. The 50 states, via the state legislatures, will have to force the federal government back into compliance with the Constitution. The Constitution MUST be reinstated and a constitutional federal government must replace the unconstitutional government currently rushing to destroy the greatest nation on earth. Only the 50 states have the power to reign in the Fed peacefully.... Five Steps to regaining Control of the Runaway Fed State 10th Amendment Resolutions -- More than 32 states are working to pass 10th Amendment resolutions aimed at reclaiming both state sovereignty and states rights. More than 40 states will complete that process in the coming months. In accordance with Amendment IX, which states, "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people." -- the 10th Amendment provides, "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people." The states MUST remind the Fed that it is NOT an oligarchy of unelected Czars free to run roughshod over the people and the states. Rather that the Fed exists and serves at the pleasure of the states and the people, and is limited in authority to ONLY those matters assigned it in the Constitution. State 2nd Amendment Legislation - necessary to the security of any free state, is the right of the people to keep and bear arms. -- State legislatures MUST immediately protect the 2nd Amendment rights of their citizens to keep and bear arms, even in cases of Martial Law, as it is "necessary to the security of a free state,"-- Amendment II in the Bill of Rights specifically prohibits the federal government from ever infringing upon this fundamental right. The states MUST protect this right of the people, in order to protect the states. Retake Control of their State -- Over the years, states have allowed themselves to become financial dependents of the federal government. They first gave up their representation in Washington DC when they allowed the passage of the 17th Amendment, which removed state representation and reduced the US Senate to just another populous establishment which panders to whatever special interest has the biggest budget today. States MUST cut themselves off from federal funds in order to eliminate federal control over their states. They MUST also repeal the 17th Amendment which is in direct violation of Article I -- Section IV, and eliminated states rights by eliminating state representation in DC. According to Article I -- Section IV of the Constitution, the current US Senate is unconstitutional as it is no longer seated by state legislatures, and as a result, no longer represents state interests. It must be replaced by a constitutional senate seated by the legislatures of each state, which will once again represent the interests of the states. Defund the Runaway Fed -- The federal government has been headed for bankruptcy for almost a hundred years now. The Fed is in the business of "wasting the labors of the people under the false pretense of taking care of the people." It is able to confiscate private assets and wealth for purposes of redistribution, under the 16th Amendment. Today, between 95-97% of federal revenue comes from taxes once deemed "unconstitutional," but foolishly allowed by the passage of the 16th Amendment in 1913. The states MUST begin a state demanded repeal of the 16th Amendment in order to defund the runaway Fed and reclaim control of the revenue stream currently used by the Fed to run roughshod over the states. They must also regain control of this revenue stream in order to save their states from financial ruin at the command of the Fed. Institute a New Government -- "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles..." Before the people are forced to abolish the runaway Fed altogether, the states must act to restore the Constitution and our Constitutional Representative Republic. To restore a constitutional government respectful of our unalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness, the states must regain the power reserved them in the US Constitution and assert those powers to reign in a federal government which falsely believes that the people and the states, function at its pleasure, laying its foundation on such principles..." which are clearly enumerated in our nation's founding documents. The people run this country, and I don't mean the 22.4% of American citizens who foolishly voted for massive Democratic Secular Socialism last November. The 22.4% of Americans who voted for the freshman nobody from Chicago with a blank résumé and a laundry list of evil associates, did NOT win the right to run roughshod over the other 77.6% of Americans who did NOT vote for this nonsense last fall. The Constitution either stands or it doesn't, all of it. If the Constitution no longer stands, then neither does the federal government, as it exists only as the product of the US Constitution. The people only have the power to right the ship through violent revolt. But the states have the power to re-install a constitutional federal government by peaceful means. They have started on that path with the passage of 10th Amendment and 2nd Amendment resolutions and they must now finish what they started. The people's job is to make certain that their state legislators do just that, finish the task at the state level.... Obama's popularity is now at an alarming -11 points as of this morning, and in a state of free-fall. The people are waking up and looking for ways to end this nightmare.
