imageIt appears ACORN has decided there is no point in continuing to hide an article that links Senator Barack Obama to it in the early 1990s because it’s out there in cyberspace already. After locking “Case Study: Chicago-The Barack Obama Campaign” (Social Policy magazine, Winter 2003-Spring 2004) when ACORN began getting pummeled by bad press, suddenly the article is available again. (registration required for access) Social Policy magazine is run by ACORN affiliate, the Institute for Social Justice. The only difference between the version of the article we posted Oct. 13 (PDF) and the version now available on the Social Policy website is the one-page chart labeled “Voter Turnout, Chicago Primaries 2003-2004.” The chart is in the version we posted previously but is absent from the version now available on the website.
