Comey Defines People Who Disagree With Him as "Small People"

When the sun is at the right angle most of us cast shadows. But former FBI director James Comey casts a gargantuan ego no matter where the sun shines.

"Small people who were trying to take down an institution."

"Fired FBI Director James Comey spoke out in defense of Andrew McCabe, the man who headed America's top law enforcement agency in his absence last May, suggesting on Monday that "small people were trying to tear down an institution." One of those small people canned your arse, Comey," Paul Bush wrote in a letter to Canada Free Press this morning, adding to Newsweek: "Pay your taxes!" Comey, whose shadow is his ego, also likes calling attention to his digital echo by quoting himself on Twitter:

How about your own country, its duly elected president and the people you were paid to serve, Mr. Comey. Do you wish them well?

Lil' old "Me" could have fooled the rest of us. "Comey says Andrew McCabe "stood tall" while the FBI was attacked. (Newsweek) The unmentioned Paul Harvey-like 'Rest of the Story' in this particular case is that untold numbers of Americans feel they and their beloved country have been under spurious attack by the FBI since the 2016 presidential election campaign.

"FBI Deputy Director McCabe was pressed to quit by FBI Director Christopher Wray earlier in the day. (Newsweek) "McCabe served as acting director of the FBI after Comey was fired by President Donald Trump on May 9, 2017, until Wray was confirmed as the new director last August. "Special Agent Andrew McCabe stood tall over the last 8 months, when small people were trying to tear down an institution we all depend on," wrote Comey on Twitter. The former director has shied away in his public comments from making direct reference to the top law enforcement agency that both Republicans and Democrats have accused of becoming politicized in recent months. "I wish Andy well. I also wish continued strength for the rest of the FBI. America needs you," Comey continued.

The problem for Comey, McCabe and company is looking like the big shakedown of the super spies who tried to influence the outcome of the 2016 presidential election is coming down the pike to John Q. Public. Rats always swim away from sinking ships.

"On Monday night, the House Intelligence Committee's ranking Democrat, California Representative Adam Schiff, revealed Republicans on the committee have placed the FBI and Department of Justice under investigation. (Newsweek) "This is a wholesale broadside against two of our respected institutions," Schiff said after the committee's Republicans also voted to publicly release a four-page memo written by GOP members. The memo is said to show America's top law enforcers inappropriately used surveillance on Donald Trump's campaign as part of the Russia investigation."

Meanwhile the "small people" of whom Comey speaks are the patriotic backbone of America. And it's not "the small people trying to take down an institution" that's the clear and present danger of the day but the institution trying to take down an entire country called the USA.
