imageTomorrow’s “Day of Rage” in cities across the United States is doomed for certain failure because “Day of Rage” won’t resonate with average people. “Bring your own tent!” is the message sent out to protesters on the social networks. Recession-bound people, some of whom are trying to move their families in with relatives, live in cars and sleep on park benches, not tents. The poor forced to take to tents are not paid the least bit of attention by George Soros, and no one pays them to shout lofty chants like “Eat the Rich!” while standing around on Manhattan sidewalks.
Unlike protesters who call activists to action and take pictures with their cell phones, the genuinely poor had their cell phones shut off by not being able to pay the bills and their rusted out vehicles repo’ed. Trying to survive does not give them the luxury of covering their faces and going out on the Protest de Jour. No matter how loud the call to action, Occupying Wall Street is not something you’re likely to do if you don’t know where the next meal is coming from to feed your children. Marxists, ever ready to exploit the masses, are out to lunch on this one.
Still on a high from turning Egypt over to the Muslim Brotherhood, “Day of Rage” protesters have been training to create chaos, resist arrest and to disrupt legal systems for months. Naturally, their training has been going on in the comfort of warm summer months and their training bolstered by pay checks. Unlike millions of the masses they are trying to call to action, they don’t have to rely on food stamps or spend long days pounding the pavement to find work. Behind the bandanas meant to disguise their identities are ACORN activists and the riffraff of major unions like the Service Employees International Union, SEIU--the ones who frighten 14-year-old boys home alone. Vague in stated mission, they call for “integrity” to be “restored to our elections”. But the masses already know that integrity was swallowed whole when the Obama regime moved into the White House. The same old people, Code Pink and ACORN co-founder Wade Rathke are singing the same old song. They’ve merely changed placards for the Ministry of Propaganda mainline news media to read the chant of the day. Everything about “Day of Rage” protesters is yesterday, including their heroes, yesterday man and wife, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn, who recently came home defeated from their last unsuccessful flotilla to the Gaza Strip. Canada Free Press (CFP) was encouraged to read on Maggie’s notes “I’m reading everywhere on the Internet that Wade Rathke, co-founder of ACORN and SEIU, announced the Day of Rage on March 25, 2011. I don’t doubt that is true, but haven’t been able to find anything other than someone else quote him--nothing linking to the actual quote. The source for the information seems to come from Canada Free Press. Gulag Bound has connected George Soros to U.S. Day of Rage through The Ruckus Society on the U.S. Day of Rage website. The Ruckus Society receives funding from the Tides Foundation and George Soros’ Open Society Institute provides grants to Tides, including a mere $4.2 million in 2008, the last year figures are available. Several paragraphs down you’ll find more on the hopes for a Robin Hood tax, and rewriting our U.S. Constitution, among other little Marxist dreams, including violence since “fiscal reform” probably won’t do the job.” CFP was encouraged because there is scant attention being paid to tomorrow’s protest, although Glenn Beck on GBTV and Aaron Klein of WorldNetDaily are doing a masterful job of keeping track of it. Tomorrow’s “Day of Rage” honors the “Days of Rage” organized by the Weather Underground domestic terrorist organization co-founded by Ayers and Dohrn, now close associates of Barack Hussein Obama. Bill Ayers and his Mrs. went from lobbing bombs at innocent civilians to fomenting for revolution at gatherings attended by the Obama regime. The 1960s is ancient history to everyone else but the silly czars surrounding the man who has promised them the total transformation of America. All the “Day of Rage” protesters want is to gather a coalition of radicals and trade unionists to carry out chaos using the current economic crisis to add to the misery of real people suffering the loss of jobs and homes. “Day of Rage” leaders vow to stay on scene throughout the coming winter. We know the reason they are going for on-the-street longevity: to push Obama to re-election. We rarely hear their boasts about taking down Cairo these days. That’s because while bragging about democracy they handed Egypt over to the Muslim Brotherhood. The mainstream media will do somersaults to get “Day of Rage” protesters saturation coverage. But this is one protest where bandanas cannot hide the faces of the radicals.
