I’ve been away for 2 weeks. Nothing has changed except to become worse. At home, we are not so much a divided as we are an amputated nation. Two sides, roughly equal, cleaved and bleeding, wounded and screaming animals. Trump, although he may be a balm for that part of the country that can be salvaged, cannot mend us, as that would take an act of God.
The week I left we witnessed a perfect example of what our two political parties and their respective leaders have become. Joe Biden and Donald Trump were in New York at the same time. Biden was with Barack Obama and Bill Clinton for a celebrity-teeming fundraiser at Radio City Music Hall, while Trump was in Massapequa for the wake of police officer Jonathan Diller, murdered by a career criminal, life-long scum bag, and George Floyd wannabe, Guy Rivera. Well, we have to keep our priorities straight, right?
Is there anything else you need to know? Don’t think for a nano second that Biden’s handlers weren’t aware of how that would look. The fact is, they knew, and they didn’t care. Progressives hate for us is boundless; it has been for decades. Only two things distinguish the moment: They have complete control of all our various institutions, and we on the right have begun to cultivate a hatred that mirrors theirs.
Officer Diller was 31 years old and had a 1-year-old son at home. There is no silver lining in this, but we would do well to remember all the Soros-backed filth that occupy district attorney offices in cities across America. And we must keep in mind that they have instituted criminal-loving policies at the expense of police and law-abiding citizens.
I return home and observe that in death that OJ Simpson, a low IQ, narcissistic and socio-pathic double murderer, enjoys the sympathy and understanding of our legacy media. The AP news wire and the Washington Post lead with headlines suggesting he’d somehow tragically lost his way, as if he were an adolescent who’d stolen a car in which someone had left the keys, instead of recalling that he’d butchered his wife and her friend. Well, hey, both victims were white and the me too movement is so yesterday, right?
And to punctuate matters, a race commentator comes on CNN and says the quiet part out loud: The black community responded to OJ because he killed two white people. Not very often you hear something that honest on CNN. Those are the bookend events of my travel. Where is hope in that?
Overseas, Europe continues careening inexorably toward a course of murder. The collision of what remains of its culture and traditions with a radical Muslim horde, which is to say the majority of Muslims, is in escapable. As certain as, well, death. The only thing that can rescue it, that can mitigate a blood-letting certainty, is less murder now.
Put plain, embrace now a Darwinian, survival of the fittest, a violent purge of atavistic and barbarian parasite Muslims – and openly admit the obvious but necessary hypocrisy in such an action – or wait, and be the object of an unwanted embrace, one bent on the destruction to the very ground of all objects and ideals on which every single cherished and assumed conviction of the last 2000 years has been founded.
Islamic fanatics will scream and promise revenge, but how is that different from what already maintains? And besides, an evidenced willingness to punch them hard in the face is a flag-waving warning.
No happy or easy choices here, but no complexity, either; live or die; simply a Manichean determination to survive. Nothing more. What Tennyson created for the literary world and Hobbes borrowed for the political, the moment for “nature, red in tooth and claw” must become a single order. To be left wanting is to be left in the dust; the dome of Notre Dame a kind of Ozymandias staring back across forgotten ages.
Israel is the warning of what awaits, the proverbial canary in the coal mine, but Europe is the echo of that warning. The western world is on an unavoidable course with Armageddon. Its states’ populations are torn about what the response should be. The advice I’ve just listed is the only correct course because it is the only saving one.
However, the West is led by fools and morons, moral and physical cowards ashamed to exalt and cherish a carefully sculpted civilization that has meant more and done more, has elevated humanity higher, than anything that preceded it and whatever hell promises to come after.
In America, instead of defending what is sacred, Biden, a demented shell, manipulated by malevolent toads, unable to reign in the inflation he’s caused; unwilling to curtail the invasion at our border; and desperate and watching his chance for re-election wash out to sea, courts and kisses the Death to America crowd and applies all possible pressure on Israel to lose the war to Hamas.
Not to be outdone, European elites, tremble over which of two courses to take: mere servitude or outright and abject slavery. Unable to decide, they concern themselves with hate speech and misgendering, while Muslim gangs rape and murder and declare themselves outside and apart from the countries that have welcomed them.
Voices like mine scream into a hurricane wind. We are thought to be lunatics, beyond the pale, turning our backs on reason and demanding a reaction that is unthinkable. This, is #-filled bullshit.
The truth is at no time in the history of the world have we seen cultures so weak as those now present in the West. You cannot in written history find societies whose leaders were so animated by self-hatred, so determined, like homeless bums sitting in soiled clothing, to luxuriate in self-abasement, unaware that their actions will absolutely produce the kind of unspeakable horrors they are desperate to avoid.
You think this is outrageous? Christianity began in the Middle East, an area which was once home to the largest population of Christians in the world.
Muslims engaged in forced conversions and murder, the same as they do today. Much is made of Israel being a “colonizer.” This is a-historical ignorance on a grand scale. Jews had been in the areas now known as Israel and Palestine, Gaza and the West Bank for more than 1500 years before the Romans. It is Muslims who are colonizers.
Jews remained in Arab countries all around the Middle East until Israel was granted UN recognition. Today, we hear about the “right of return” for Muslims to land that is now Israel, but none among our betters ever has a thing to say about the Jews who were raped, murdered, and run out of lands their ancestors had been on for generations; no one thinks to wonder what happened to all the Christians who were once the majorities in Muslim lands. The elites of the world, our betters, assiduously ignore this, their ignorance and hatred competing to be the object of our erasure.
Look no further than the voices of liberal American Jews as proof of our determined demise. The Dem quad in the House denounces and damns Israel; American campuses are rife with anti-American, pro-Palestinian activists; Hezzbolah threatens to open a second front against Israel, and Iran rattles its saber; Biden, as I’ve previously stated, pressures Israel to ceasefire, all of this in the face of October 7th rapes, torture and murder, and while scores of Israelis remain in the hands of Hamas and still, STILL a significant percentage of American Jews, I’d wager a majority, criticize Israel and laud Biden. This is suicide.
Our entire course is suicide. In the micro, in the name of justice, it lauds black killers and forgets white cops; writ large, this time in the name of a justice labelled diversity and dressed in post-modern relativism (read Marxism for the entire bloody lot), it is a forced capitulation to a 10thCentury barbarism intent on our death and destruction.
We must all ask ourselves: What are we going to do about it?
Shortly after writing all the preceding, I learned that Iran has attacked Israel with 180 explosive drones, 120 ballistic missiles, and 20 cruise missiles. The attack was an utter failure, and Biden has warned Israel not to respond. Let’s see, on Biden’s watch we now have the Russian invasion of Ukraine; the invasion of our border; Hamas invasion of Israel; and Iran bombing Israel. Clearly, our man in the White House is feared and respected all over the world.
Two additional items I’d like to recall: First, Iran was broke when Trump was in office and prior to Biden giving them billions of dollars; second, Biden’s policy, which is really the Obama policy, of trying to appease Iran is lunacy on a grand scale, stupid beyond any capacity to measure. It is in tatters and should be in the trash bin. But our progressive elites, convinced of their infallibility, will continue to look at the shreds and insist that all can be mended, such is their hatred for Israel and the West.
