Is the dirty little secret behind Hollywood’s hatred of President Donald Trump that entertainment celebrities are getting richer in their unrelenting poisonous hatred of him? Courageous, up-and-coming, 25-year-old singer, Joy Villa who wore a patriotic red, white and blue gown with the words “Make America Great Again” and “Trump” at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards, may have unwittingly unearthed a very interesting secret.
“Within hours of her Grammy red carpet appearance, Villa’s 2014 album, “I Make the Static,” went from #2,300 to #1 on Amazon.com, with 98% of reviews giving her album a maximum 5-star rating.” (Fellowship of the Minds) Villa, who proudly admits she is a “100 percent Trump supporter” made the right career move by showing up on Grammy’s red carpet in her MAGA/TRUMP gown. America being roughly split 50-50 in Democrat/Republican warring factions means entertainment celebrities are making money off of Donald Trump too. Publicity is the lifeblood of the entertainment industry because massive publicity nets millions of dollars from movie tickets, music sales, product sponsorship and television show advertising. Now we can understand the fervour of a Meryl Streep back for Round Two of her Hate Donald Trump routine and her reference to “brownshirts” when accepting her award from the Human Rights Campaign, a national LGBT group on Saturday night.
Now it’s easier to understand how video maker Michael Moore would anoint himself a chief spokesperson for the Big Women’s March in Washington, D.C. Money doesn’t just talk. For some it screams louder than Madonna, Ashley Judd, or any of the pink p***y cap brigade. Some of of the entertainment celebrities in protest against the president who wants to “Make America Great Again” are both, a long way from their blockbuster days, and getting a bit long in the tooth. Streep, 67, starred in ‘Out of Africa’ and ‘Sophie’s Choice’ back in the 1980s, or more than 30 years ago. Moore, 55, requires the kind of publicity to make his documentaries ‘great’ again. Big money can be made in hating or loving Donald Trump. Thanks, Joy Villa for laying bare the hypocrisy of the entertainment industry, and in such a positive fashion:

"I believe in his message, I believe he will run this country like he runs his life, successfully. I stand as a proud American and I stand for a unified America that is tolerant of each other no matter who we voted for. I stand behind our President because that’s the American thing to do. I believe in love, above all,” Villa told Fox News. The singer said on Instagram:
“Go big, or go home. You can either stand for what you believe or fall for what you don’t. Above all make a choice for tolerance and love. Agree to disagree.” Villa is now a folk hero in her own right, and the vicious hate messages for her and her gown, including the one-word message, “Die,” from @kevinrizzi won’t change a thing.
Ditto for talented Andre Soriano, the designer of Villa’s gown, who said on Instagram the gown is a “tribute [to] OUR President Of The United States Of America” adding the hashtag #MAGA.
“Soriano is an immigrant from the Philippines. A tolerant Progressive named David X Lodger wrote this on Soriano’s Facebook page: “Wow Andre Soriano, you dumb # f**k, ain’t ya… if you love America so much – go back to the Philippines where Trump thinks you belong…. self-hating dumbass To which Soriano gave this response: Peace be with you. (Fellowship of the Minds)
Peace won’t be coming any time soon as long as the unruly street mobs insist on ruling civil society. Meanwhile, the very term entertainment celebrities so cavalierly hurl at their enemies is exactly what they are: “Capitalist Pigs!”
