No Cries For Help When Russians Were Hacking The Democrats

One of the most stomach-turning hypocrisies of the progressive left in their constant criticism of President Donald Trump for cozying up to Russian President Vladimir Putin is that it was the progressive left who laid out the welcome mat to the Russians in the first place. It was the hypocritical progressive left’s key members like Nancy Pelosi who turned America’s once proud military bases over to former Soviet Union President Mikhail Gorbachev, who closed them forever as “global centres for sustainability” right from his tenancy at the Presidio.

How’s THAT for cozying up to the Russians!

“In a speech entitled ‘From Swords to Plowshares’, delivered in the House of Representatives on June 4, 1992, Pelosi cheered the arrival of Gorbachev to the Presidio as a tenant.  “The National Park Service is actively seeking ideas for programs and tenants at this spectacular site. Last month, former Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev visited the presidio to propose that the Gorbachev Foundation/use be located at the Presidio when the army leaves. In his words, “it is wonderful and symbolic that a military base is being converted for use by the people'.  ( Nancy Pelosi: One of Mikhail Gorbachev's most useful idiots -- CFP, Nov. 15, 2006)
“As the cold war ends,” Pelosi continued, “it is, indeed, fitting that this army garrison--one of the oldest in the United States--will be transformed to a monument to peace, environmental preservation and recreation as a global park.”  “Less than a year after Pelosi's fawning words, Gorbachev and his American pre-funded $3.5-million Gorbachev Foundation moved into new a white, shingled bayfront house at the historic Presidio overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge."
How’s THAT for cozying up to the Russians!
“Next, avowed Communist Gorbachev brought his State of the Art Forum to the Presidio.
Co-chairs of the forum include pretend Republican James Baker III. Baker served in the Reagan Administration as Treasury Secretary.”
The Presidio Fort then the headquarters for the Sixth US Army was just on of many military bases passing out of military control. The move to transfer America’s military bases over to Gorbachev originated with Pelosi’s sanction of the UN-inspired Agenda 21, still galloping through civil society to this very day: “Pelosi patiently shepherded Agenda 21 through Congress. On March 29, 1993 she introduced a joint resolution (H.J.RES166) to renew the call for the United States to “assume a strong leadership role in implementing Agenda 21 and other Summit agreements”, eventually gathering 67 co-sponsors for her bill, 32 of whom are still in Congress.  (See: Nancy Pelosi: One of Mikhail Gorbachev's most useful idiots) Nor did the wreath laying at Gorby’s feet remain solely with the politicians of the day. Back then the “we’ll-all sleep-better-if-I’m-president-Mr.-Trump” Arnold Schwarzenegger and wife Maria Shriver were in on the act. "I like this kind of man and I think we need more of them," Shriver told People Magazine in 1994. “The Terminator's name was on Gorbachev's website as an acolyte of The Green Cross "energy glasnost" $50-billion solar energy fund, touted as "a plan to drive down the cost of solar energy over 10 years for the developing world and urban centers.” (See: Terminator turns left-- CFP, June 3, 2005)

"The Global Solar Fund was first proposed in Johannesburg at the World Summit on Sustainable Development–where the proposal of the Renewables 2004 conference originated–to create energy for peace. The status of solar programs in California, where Governor Schwarzenegger has called for solar on every other new home will also be presented.” Meanwhile, the "I'll-be-back" man is more unbelievable in real life than he ever was on the Hollywood screen. “
Guess the progressives claiming that “we’d all sleep better at night” if the Terminator were in the White House instead of starring in ‘The Apprentice’ never heard of the old adage “People who live in glass houses should never throw stones”. Meanwhile, note to the two senators who last month launched a “bipartisan” investigation of Russia's efforts to influence the U.S. election and democratic elections in other nations: Senators Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., and Sheldon Whitehouse, D-R.I., the Russians are not only already here, but they have closed down the best of your country’s military bases starting with the Presidio.
