The world heard you, courageous people of Poland, even though the international media stubbornly pretended not to.

“Thousands of Polish Catholics formed human chains on the country’s borders Saturday, begging God “to save Poland and the world” in an event many viewed as a spiritual weapon against the “Islamisation” of Europe.” (AFP, Oct. 7, 2017)

“Reciting “Rosary to the Borders”, they called to be protected from the dangers facing them. The episcopate insisted that it was a purely religious initiative.

“The goal was to have as many prayer points as possible along Poland’s 3,511-kilometre (2,200-mile) border with Germany, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and the Baltic Sea.

“Fishing boats joined the event on the sea, while kayaks and sailboats formed chains on Polish rivers, local media said.

“During a mass, broadcast live by the ultra-Catholic Radio Maryja, Krakow archbishop Marek Jedraszewski called on believers to pray “for the other European nations to make them understand it is necessary to return to Christian roots so that Europe would remain Europe.”

“Archbishop Stanislaw Gadecki, head of the Polish Episcopal Conference, told the commercial radio station RMF FM that “the key objective of this manifestation is to pray for peace.”

The Polish human chains storming Heaven with prayer weren’t just “viewed as a spiritual weapon against the “Islamisation” of Europe”, they were a spiritual weapon against it.

“A victory attributed to the recital of the rosary “that saved Europe from Islamisation”, the Solo Dios Basta foundation, organising the event, said on its website.” (AFP)

It wasn’t just the Solo Dios Basta foundation stating that it was the recital of the rosary “that saved Europe from Islamisation”,  but world history, irrefutable history impossible to revise.

Stop skirting the truth, scribes of the mainstream media, it was the fervent prayers of the Holy League to the Mother of God that saved Europe from total Islamization.

The day of Poland’s borders gathering was the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary, marking the 1571 victory of Christianity over the Ottoman Turks at the epic life-changing Battle of Lepanto.

But the secular, no-such-thing-as-God MSM continues to play down the outcome of the mighty Battle of Lepanto.

Historian, journalist, author Paul Badde takes us back to the epic sea battle scene in his magnificent book, ‘María of Guadalupe’:

“On this day the Holy League, the cream of Europe, fought the Crescent of the East.  “This was the first time a disunited Christendom had ever joined forces.

“The Savoyard flagship flew an immense standard, with a silhouette of the Crucified on the Holy Shroud embroidered in heavy brocade over an emblem of the sun.  But this standard hung limp from the mast from lack of wind.

““Almost five hundred ships and about two hundred thousand men faced each other on the sea.  But from the beginning of the battle, the Christians were hopelessly inferior to the Turkish naval power.

“Storm petrels circled over the waves in anticipation.  Then, at almost nine in the morning, the sky grew dark.  The greatest hope for the Europeans was in six galleons, heavy sailing ships assisted by oars but difficult to maneuver.  They could scarcely use their long-distance cannons here.  For this, they needed a fair wind.

“Notwithstanding, Andrea Doria finally raised the cry: “Long live Mary!” and hurled himself into battle.  He was immediately outmaneuvered,  his flagship forced aside and his contingent of ships separated.  The Turkish admiral Uluch Ali was busy sinking the Genoese ships one by one.  It was the beginning of the end.  Don John of Austria’s flagship was boarded by the Turks.  They took full advantage of their superiority everywhere: they had better strategy, they were more skillful fighters, and they had an insatiable will to win.

“Desperate, Andrea Doria hurled himself to his cabin below deck and fell to his knees before a new miraculous image of Mary.  Now only you, Queen of Heaven, can help me—he begged her—if everything is not to be lost.  That is, if Christendom is still dear and beloved to you.  In tears, the young commander prayed to this foreign Virgin with the cross medallion.

“When Andrea returned to the deck, the wind had changed.  A storm unleashed itself and swept the Turkish ships out of formation, dispersing them.  Suddenly the Europeans could use the strength and scope of their firepower.  The Spaniards boarded Ali Pasa’s flagship and beheaded Selim’s best admiral right on the deck.  The Turks panicked and were unable to maneuver.  Those who could swim tried to reach land through a blood-red sea.  Those who could not, clung to flotsam.  It was a horrible battle, an overwhelming victory for Christendom.  Between the morning of October 7, 1571, and early afternoon, here on these waves, in this bay, at least thirty thousand Turks and 7,600 Christians died.  (Four hundred years later, in World Wars 1 and 11, the German submarine fleet lost 33,472 men).  On that day, fifteen thousand Christians were freed from the Turkish galleys where they had been chained to their oars.  Very dramatically, and for the first rime, the victory put a stop to the triumphant spread of Ottoman Islam to the West.  From that day, Turkish sea power kept declining.”  (María of Guadalupe pgs. 210, 211 & 212)

“Many Poles see Islam as a threat. The conservative government, which enjoys the backing of a sizeable portion of the population, refuses to welcome migrants to Poland, which has very few Muslims of its own. (AFP)

“Nationalist Catholic activist Marcin Dybowski told AFP before the event that “a religious war between Christianity and Islam is once again underway in Europe, just like in the past.”

“Poland is in danger. We need to shield our families, our homes, our country from all kinds of threats, including the de-Christianisation of our society, which the EU’s liberals want to impose on us,” he said.”

God bless Poland, the one country in a world where even one week ago today, authorities refuse to call the horror of what shooter Paul —- did in Las Vegas, an act of terrorism, even though admitting he may have had help.

God bless the Polish people for having the courage of their convictions.

“Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. Amen.”
