“However, in her most recent interview with CNN’s Anderson Cooper, viewers noticed something odd about the T-shirt Cruz was wearing. (Allen B West, Oct. 1 2017)Puerto Rico mayor wears "help us, we are dying" shirt during CNN interview https://t.co/4NIaN0BYX3 pic.twitter.com/98SBJnWsHo

#SanJuanMayor says residents are "dying," & somehow @realDonaldTrump is to blame. I'm here. Who is dying? Why? Where? Let me help save them. — Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) September 30, 2017“But by the time Rivera had a chance to interview Cruz, she’d ditched the shirt:
“Interestingly, when Rivera did catch up with Cruz, she lost the politically charged T-shirt in favor of a plain white polo, which makes one wonder if Fox News viewers are not worthy.“Rivera wasn’t the only viewer to notice the shirt, which took Twitter by storm after the interview:With #SanJuanMayor @CarmenYulinCruz Highly critical of @realDonaldTrump I ask her if she'll meet @POTUS Tuesday-Watch my intv @foxandfriends pic.twitter.com/6JDVFSf1WL
— Geraldo Rivera (@GeraldoRivera) September 30, 2017Mayor of San Juan PR says POTUS "you're killing us" but has the resources to have a t-shirt printed with a political message. hmm? #Libhack pic.twitter.com/uktZlzB74w
— Rick Beaman (@chiefbeaman) September 30, 2017I'll bet a month's pay (&I make way more than you do brian), @CNN had that apparel made and hand delivered it to her. #CoupCoConspirators
— Mathew S Harrison (@MathewSHarrison) October 1, 2017People also died in Texas, Florida and the Bahamas! But no one was trying to blame the government! Get over yourself PR! Natural Disaster!

Mayor Carmen Cruz has not only unwittingly shown us her water wading and T-shirt props, she’s shown the world she’s nothing but a stuffed shirt in municipal office and a crock! No power

No food
No water
No law
No order
No sewer
✔ T-ShirtI guess this is why she had nobody to drive the trucks, they were to busy printing shirts and hats with no POWER!!!
— # Cracker!!!! (@TRRUMPPPP) September 30, 2017“With Cruz prioritizing printing political T-shirts over storm relief, is it any wonder Trump took notice? In fact, Trump’s not the only one to notice the lack of action from Cruz. Asked about the situation, a neighboring mayor blasted Cruz while praising Trump’s response:Hey, where did she get the hat and t-shirt? Did she have them before the hurricane? Did she find them in the ruins? So many questions.
— Angie (@AngieBatlle) September 30, 2017“Guaynabo’s Mayor Angel Perez said he has no idea what the hell Cruz is talking about since his city has been receiving aid. The reason why they are getting help is because Perez has kept on top of relief efforts by attending meetings with officials from FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) and other federal agencies. “I don’t know why she is saying that,” Perez told the Daily Caller. “She is not participating in any meetings. We had a couple already with the governors and with representation of FEMA and of HUD, these whole federal agencies that have given us help. We are receiving assistance from FEMA. I got people over here helping us with applications for the people that have damage in their houses.”“Meanwhile, real people are suffering in Puerto Rico. Sadly, liberals are more interested in turning their suffering into a political narrative, rather than actually doing what’s required to help themselves.
