Valerie Jarrett’s Daughter Laura Now On The Get-Donald-Trump CNN Team In political life, attorney generals sometimes “recuse” themselves even when it leaves a knife in the back of a newly elected president. In March of 2017, Jeff Sessions recused himself from any investigation into the 2016 presidential election, including the so-called Russia probe, after the Washington Post reported he had met with Sergey KIslyak at least twice in 2016, contacts he was accused of failing to disclose during his heated confirmation hearing.
While recusing himself may have been the easiest way out for Jeff Sessions, it left President Donald Trump in that category best described as a “hard road to hoe”. “Two months later, Sessions told President Trump in a letter that he had concerns about FBI Director James B. Comey, who was leading an investigation into the Trump campaign's ties to Russia. Sessions concluded that “a fresh start is needed at the leadership of the FBI.” (Washington Post, July 29, 2017)
“In his letter, Sessions referenced a letter from Rod J. Rosenstein written May 9. The letter argued that Comey should be fired for his actions in handling the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server. Trump fired Comey on May 9.”
But for Sessions it was one of those ‘You’re on your own, Mr. President, the whole affair’s much too hot for me’ moments. Everyone’s ganging up on President Trump who committed the unforgivable sin of defeating power-crazed Hillary Clinton—which is really what the Russia conspiracy probe is all about. Everyone now includes the daughter of Barack Obama longtime consigliere Valerie Jarrett:
In ‘journalism’, television networks don’t recuse but excuse themselves when they hire political activists with no experience in reporting as television journalists. Laura Jarrett, daughter of Barack Obama’s top advisor Valerie Jarrett has joined the hit team at CNN in going after Trump via the never-ending Russia/Trump probe. “The Justice Department on Thursday turned over to congressional committees a closely guarded set of memos that former FBI Director James Comey wrote recounting his conversations with President Donald Trump. (Laura Jarrett, CNN, April 19, 2018) The Russia/Trump probe is a set-up in which CNN has long played a starring role. So now Laura Jarrett is in on the act, by being put in a position to ‘report’ on it. More than her Mom, Valerie Jarrett, are now screeching loudly, “Go, Laura, Go!”
“A source familiar with the matter told CNN that special counsel Robert Mueller's office was consulted on the release and did not object.” (CNN)

Why are we not surprised?! Though Jarrett got the byline on the CNN story, “CNN's Jeremy Herb, Manu Raju and Gloria Borger contributed to this report.” (CNN)
“Thursday's letter to lawmakers enclosed redacted versions of the memos, with classified information blacked out. Lawmakers will be permitted to review unredacted copies Friday in a classified setting on Capitol Hill. (CNN) “Comey told CNN's Jake Tapper during an interview Thursday on "The Lead" that he had no problem with members of Congress reading the memos. "It's fine by me," Comey said.”
Letting Hillary Clinton skate on her email scandal was also Comey-stamped “It’s fine by me”, but it wasn’t fine by millions of citizens who know Big Government corruption when they spot it. The sticky spider web goes much further than Laura Jarrett, CNN reporter on the pumped-up Russia scandal. As Valerie Jarrett’s lawyer daughter, Laura is tied into the Obamacare website scandal through her mother: Investor's Business Daily:
Health Fail: Healthcare.gov's implosion may be due to one of its major developers being selected less for its technical competence than for cronyism. Perhaps the White House was hoping for a friends and family discount. Why pick a Canadian firm with a French name to help develop the official ObamaCare website? It certainly wasn't based on the track record in developing health care software of CGI Federal, the IT contractor that orchestrated most of the Healthcare.gov website. CGI Federal is a wholly owned subsidiary of Canada's CGI Group (CGI stands for "Conseillers en Gestion et Informatique" in French, which roughly translates to "Information Systems and Management Consultants"). Its performance on Ontario, Canada's health care medical registry for diabetes sufferers was so poor that officials ditched the $46.2 million contract after three years of missed deadlines, the Washington Examiner has reported. CGI is also the company behind the $2.7 billion failed, Liberal-launched Canadian Gun Registry that was so plagued with corruption and mismanagement it brought on an investigation by Canadian Auditor General Sheila Fraser. The company is deeply embedded in Canada's single-payer system, which is the direction President Obama's health care policies are driving us.  CGI has provided IT services to the Canadian Ministries of Health in Alberta, British Columbia, New Brunswick, Quebec and Saskatchewan, as well as to the national health provider, Health Canada, according to CGI's website. George Schindler, CGI Group president for U.S. and Canada, became an Obama 2012 campaign donor after his company won the ObamaCare contract, a pattern we've seen in green-energy stimulus money going to companies like Solyndra. “As it happens, the Daily Caller reports that Michelle Obama's college roomie Toni Townes-Whitley, Princeton class of '85, is a senior vice president at CGI Federal, which earned the no-bid contract to build the $678 million ObamaCare enrolment website at Healthcare.gov. “There may be another Canadian connection as well. “Valerie Jarrett's daughter, Laura, is married to Tony Balkissoon. He is the son of Bas Balkissoon, a member of the Ontario legislature whose jobs have included, among other things, a stint as parliamentary assistant to the minister of Health and Long-Term Care from 2007-10. It's all in the family."
(Balkissoon suddenly resigned his Liberal parliamentary seat in 2016)
“A major decision such as choosing Healthcare.gov's prime developer certainly would not be made without Jarrett's approval. Her influence is so great, as we have pointed out, she called off raids to get Osama bin Laden three times for political reasons. (Business Investor's Daily) “Both President Obama and Balkissoon, the Liberal MPP (Member of Provincial Parliament) for Scarborough-Rouge River in Ontario, were recently in Chicago for Balkissoon's son's wedding to Jarrett's daughter.  “Ontario campaign finance records show CGI also donated money to Canada's Liberal Party, to which Balkissoon belongs. "At the 290-guest wedding of his son Tony to Valerie Jarrett's daughter Laura, Bas Balkissoon was seen in deep conversation with Barack Obama and Obama's Attorney General Eric Holder," the Toronto Star said. We doubt they were asking for wedding planning tips. "The Balkissoon-Jarrett marriage is one of several links between Premier Dalton McGuinty's Liberals and Obama. “Again, why pick a Canadian firm with a French name to help develop the official ObamaCare website?  “Cronyism is the Chicago way and the way of this administration. It certainly had nothing to do with the health and welfare of the American people. “But then, what are friends and family for?”
Laura Jarrett joined CNN in September 2016 as a reporter based in the Washington, D.C. bureau, having worked prior to joining CNN as a litigation attorney in Chicago. Jarrett attended Harvard Law School where she was Articles Selection co-chair, an Article Editor, and a Technical Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Gender, and published her own articles on the intersection of gender, violence, and the law. In adding to the media wolves howling for the destruction of President Trump, CNN may have done an unwitting favor to the masses: Why would CNN hire the daughter of Barack Obama’s top adviser Valerie Jarrett to go after the President of the United States of America.
