Pope, Russian Patriarch Sign Historic "Pro-Family" Declaration

Is the Pope, Russian Patriarch "pro-family" historic declaration for real?

As reported in the news, a joint-declaration calling for strong defense of family and life was signed on February 12 by Pope Francis and Metropolitan Kirill, head of the Orthodox Church of Moscow and all Russia. The signing occurred following their historic meeting at Havana Airport in Cuba, where the two expressed "grave concerns" over the ever increasing infringement against religious liberty throughout the world, lamenting especially the persecution of Christians that is rampant now throughout Africa, the Middle-East, the Ukraine, and many other places. The historic meeting and declaration raises serious eyebrows among faithful and true Christians, since it is no secret that Kirill is a full-fledged Communist with a long history of carrying out assignments for the KGB, and who has been complicit with the murder of Christians in the past. The fact is that Kirill is entirely political, being a counterpart of Stalin, Khrushchev, and Gorbachev, though his particular assignment is to operate under the guise of religion. His plan from the beginning is to politicize the Russian Orthodox Church and keep it in strict accord with the party-line so that it is nothing more than a political tool to advance Communism.
Unfortunately, he has the same projection for the Church of Rome and it is feared that the joint-declaration could avail him and Putin, his closest ally, greater power to do harm to the universal Church under Peter. According to credible reports, it was Kirill who chose Cuba as the place for the historic meeting, since it was his mission for Putin to depict Cuba as a religion-friendly place where warm spiritual dialogue can take place. As a disciple of Lenin, Kirill too holds to the maxim that "the lie is sacred," therefore there is no limit as to how much he will lie to accomplish his dirty work. Nothing should surprise us. Hence his expressed concerns over life, family, peace, and unity, where only done to elicit the pope's signature and deceive the west. The more we think of him as pro-life and pro-family, the more successful was his meeting in Cuba. His lamentation over "persecuted Christians" was only a smokescreen to conceal the Communist persecution of Christians going on in Cuba right now, and also in the Ukraine. It's significant to note that the joint-declaration was carefully crafted in such a way as to not blame Russia for any of the persecution in the Ukraine or beyond that Kirill purports to lament. Unfortunately, Pope Francis has been taken in with Russia's deception and is being used by Russia to advance their work. For instance, he refused to support the persecuted Christians of Cuba when they pleaded with him for help during his visit to Cuba in September 2015, and we saw a similar brush-off when the Ukrainian bishops went to Rome last year to beg his support for the viciously persecuted Christians in the Ukraine. Francis all but scolded them, saying that the tension in the Ukraine is just "fratricidal violence" among Christians, thereby putting the Ukrainian victims and Russian invaders on the same level. What he should have done is acknowledge that the poor, innocent, Christian Ukrainians were being viciously persecuted by their atheistic Russian invaders. Where was the mercy?

Has Kirill the Russian bear suddenly changed his claws overnight?

We need to ask ourselves: has Kirill the Russian bear suddenly changed his claws overnight? Has he now rejected Communism and warmly received traditional overtures from Rome? Has Francis converted Kirill to charity? Anything is possible, but unless Kirill can openly censure the Kremlin for its murderous activity in the Ukraine and cite Russia as the cause for all the Christian persecution going on in the Middle-East and Africa as well as the destruction of morals throughout the Christian world, he is immediately exposed as a fake. That is to say, too, that if he is any friend of Christianity, he must confess openly that the demise of Communism in Russia never happened, but that it was a ruse to deceive the west. Supporters of the joint-declaration will retort by saying, "If Satan casts out Satan, his kingdom is divided, therefore Satan is the loser if his agent Kirill is signing pro-life/pro-family declarations." Not so. Satan is cast out by actions, not by signing phony paperwork. Deception actually strengthens Satan. Lies and pretty words have been Russia's daily bread for the past 25 years. If anyone would question Kirill's true convictions, they needn't look any further that Kirill's own letter to the infamous, murderous, Fidel Castro, on the occasion of his 85th birthday in August 2011: His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia has sent the following message to Fidel Castro on the occasion of his 85th birthday:
Dear Comandante: On the day of your 85th birthday, kindly accept my most cordial congratulations and wishes of good health. Your life is a vivid example of selfless service of the Motherland [Russia]. You have won the highest possible authority among the Cuban people and enjoyed their sincere love. With your direct participation, warm relations of trust were established between our peoples to bear the test of time and trials. The Russian Orthodox Church will always remember with gratitude your personal contribution to the cause of building a Russian Church in Havana and the sincere concern you showed for the community of our Russian compatriots. Inspired by your personal example, the Cuban people have always been cordial to the faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church and have taken interest in our spiritual traditions. I have warm memories of our meetings. I wish you and your loved ones good health, physical strength and long life. With profound respect, + Kirill Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia
So much for Kirill's love of life and Family!
