The only thing that hasn’t changed and never will is not what you see on video but what you see if you take the time to look skyward

The long-playing real YouTube in the sky

How many of us yearn to get back to reality in a now YouTube and video dominated News World? How many down at heart long for a break from Facebook, Twitter and everything presented as ‘real’ on the internet? How many among the Election 2016 Battle Fatigued feel there is no way of getting away from it all?
Getting away and finding reality is as simple as taking a few moments to step out onto your porch or into your backyard just before dawn breaks on another new day. Having been reminded as a child by your Mother of God’s every morning greeting, you always knew it was there but perhaps as an adult began to take it for granted. Politics makes cynics of so many, but it would be a true life tragedy if we let it make us cynical of God’s Creation. Refreshingly, the videos and selfies easily manipulated by self-seeking politicians and assorted celebs have got nothing on the real thing that is always there: the way God Almighty has announced daybreak for millennia and will do so again tomorrow morning. Don’t like getting up before the birds announce the dawn? You can always be on your porch to hear the birds greet the new day then go back for a still early morning catnap bound to bring you the most pleasant of dreams.

What earth-bound orchestra, no matter how captivating, could ever compete with God’s divine orchestra of birdsong, one that continues to come back for an encore without having to be asked. What human stars on YouTube could ever outdo the ones you just saw fading into daybreak while looking skyward? Say a little prayer while you watch daybreak by thanking God for all His creation. It is the Good Lord who ho is the true architect of all Creation, not Al Gore and his big-bopper global warming charlatans, not the completely YouTube-created from Greek columns Barack Obama. Like the rest of us among the masses, they are just bit players. The politicians who rule the world courtesy of having found the ability of omnipresence through videos did not create God’s world but are merely playing with it, and like they do with global warming/climate change propaganda, using His Creation as a convenient, money-making prop. Much of the news we watch is brought to us on video, everything from pictures of the latest storm out on the Atlantic by global warming boosting weather forecasters, to protesters over-turning police cars; from the false smiley faces of cable television news readers, to the latest rant from some has-been claiming Ted Cruz is the devil.

Some politicians even use video as a means of showing how saintly they are in the ‘Raising Money For Charity Department’. The latest has Michelle and Barack Obama starring in a playful video featuring Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Michelle and Barack have always been royalty in their own heads. But their latest video stint is all meant in good sport as Prince Harry is trying to promote the Invictus Games. Can you imagine using Obama, whose main mission in life on Earth is destroying the country he was elected to serve being used to promote a charity that helps wounded, injured and sick servicemen and women, the very ones who sacrificed so much to defend the same country? Shallow as it is, that’s life played out on the YouTube channel. While the masses have been out there slogging away trying to survive in a jobless economy in a real life that YouTube never shows, the world has transgendered into a different kind of place. Obama, who promised hope and change without saying it was one that would destroy America, now looks to Hillary Clinton to complete his destructive mission. The only thing that hasn’t changed and never will is not what you see on video but what you see if you take the time to look skyward.
