Dem Senators debate 'what color' platter to put Debbie Wasserman Schultz's head on

Elderly socialist coot, Bernie Sanders, is openly supporting Debbie Wasserman Schultz's primary opponent. To take it a step further, he's promised that - in the event of a reality-defying miracle that grants him control of the oval office - she would no longer be welcome as chairwoman of the DNC. Among the Democrat base, Wasserman Schultz is widely regarded as the pro-Clinton force that's working to rig the Democrat primaries, so her ouster is just one more reason they're hoping for a Sanders victory. But, it's starting to sound like dumping Wasserman Schultz may not hinge on Bernie's fortunes.
As The Hill reports, Democrat Senators are discussing the best color platter upon which to place Wassermann Schultz's head:
Democrats backing likely presidential nominee Hillary Clinton worry Wasserman Schultz has become too divisive a figure to unify the party in 2016, which they say is crucial to defeating presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump in November.“There have been a lot of meetings over the past 48 hours about what color plate do we deliver Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s head on,” said one pro-Clinton Democratic senator. The lawmaker said senators huddled on the chamber floor last week to talk about Wasserman Schultz’s future and estimated that about a dozen have weighed in during private conversations. “I don’t see how she can continue to the election. How can she open the convention? Sanders supporters would go nuts,” said the lawmaker, who requested anonymity because of the sensitive nature of the discussions.

First of all, I'd like to suggest that yukking it up about decapitating a powerful woman is normally the kind of thing that will land you in liberal hot water. It's a safe bet that, when the lights come on, these same left-wing cockroaches are the first ones to go scurrying for their ridiculous "War On Women" playbooks. But putting "Debbie's head on a platter?" Hilarious. Second, and more importantly, it's obvious that this is a direct result of Bernie's unique position in this election. I've been arguing that Sanders has an unusual set of personal "win conditions" that Democrats aren't used to. If he'd gotten out of the race, Debbie would get to keep her noggin on her shoulders and there would be little or no discussion of Hillary's weakness within her own party. However, since Bernie doesn't need to clinch the nom to feel like he's "won," the rules are a little different. He's not a Democrat, he's an ideological true believer, and he's made it clear that he has no qualms about torpedoing the DNC - a party he feels is just slightly less-awful than the GOP. If Dems are this close to ditching Wasserman Schultz, it looks like the strategy is working. Why wouldn't he stay in until the convention, creating chaos along the way, if the Democrat response plays right into his hands?
