Former Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm is said to be among those under consideration to replace Debbie Wasserman Schultz as chairwoman of the Democratic National Committee. If Granholm were to get the nod, it would make sense: She has long been an ally of Hillary Clinton and backed her in the 2008 campaign she lost to Barack Obama. At present, Granholm is serving as senior adviser to a group working to get Clinton elected this year. News outlets were confirming Sunday night that Democratic political consultant Donna Brazile will be the interim DNC chairwoman and that if Granholm gets a look, it will be after the November elections.I'd love to tell you that Granholm has confirmed this via her twitter page, but it's oddly quiet this morning. ...At least for me. All I can see is this lovely portrait of her and Hillary Clinton, possibly discussing the destruction of Bernie Sanders.
