Now that it's Hillary's emails, everything has changed

Hey, remember when Dems mocked Romney for claiming Russia was a top 'foe?' Good times.

If you believe Democrats, and you shouldn't, we're all supposed to be really upset about Donald Trump's Russian email comments. According to the left, Putin is a horrific dictator, Russia is our enemy, and there's a good chance Donald Trump has committed treason. Oh, and he'll probably start World War III if he's elected because the Ruskies are just looking for an excuse. What a difference a few years can make. Why, I'm old enough to remember this:
Yes, Romney was embracing the cold war. His was the foreign policy of the 1980's. It was ludicrous to think that Russia was geopolitical foe, and such comments showed how dangerously out of touch this filthy one-percenter really was. Romney was mocked mercilessly for his supposedly old-fashioned thinking. Now, of course, the Russians are being blamed for the DNC email leak. We still don't actually know if they're behind it, but that's the narrative. Dems seem to think that Trump has stepped in it with his joke about Hillary's secret, unsecured, email server, so they've decided to pounce. However, every time they attack Trump with some sort of Putin-related barb, what they're really doing is admitting that they and their "flexible" God-King spent the last several years either being wrong or just plain lying. They're also acknowledging that Hillary's server isn't the non-story they tried to pretend it was. Instead, it was precisely the irresponsible, criminal, security threat that Republicans have claimed.
