Sacramento Repub Consultant Goes Over to Dark Side; Will Speak at DNC For Hillary

It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same ~Ronald Reagan Sacramento Political Consultant Doug Elmets is making waves, and a few headlines as the brain trust behind "Republicans for Clinton." He will be proudly and loudly speaking at the Democratic National Convention Thursday evening. "I never anticipated supporting a Democrat, but Hillary Clinton is certainly the most prepared candidate probably in modern times to be president," Elmets told the Washington Times. With a straight face.

Elmets worked as a speechwriter in the Reagan White House, and is ostensibly a Republican. However, Reagan would mightily question the veracity of Elmets' latest move. "I could live with four years of Hillary Clinton before I could ever live with one day of Donald Trump as president," Elmets said, disregarding the will of the people. In his farewell address to the American people, Ronald Reagan said that the American Revolution was "the first revolution in the history of mankind that truly reversed the course of government and with three little words: 'We the people.'"

Apparently it doesn't make one bit of difference to Elmets or the other Republicans who say they will vote for Hillary, that Clinton is a liar and corrupt.

It's truly shocking how frightened so many are of American democracy in action. The will of the common man is dismissed and he is sneered at as an ignorant idiot. Rockefeller Republicans

Any Republican who claims to care about the future of America will not vote for Hillary Clinton. And those who do cast a Clinton vote are exposing their more mercenary motives. Most of the Consultancy Class who've been paid over the years for running campaigns and political consulting have run the gamut within the Party structure: Rockefeller to Reagan--although they'll all tell you they are Reagan Republicans. Mr. Elmets has worked as a Sacramento-based Republican consultant and political operative. While the California GOP has struggled greatly in the last two decades, Elmets has watched from a front row seat as radical liberalism has infected nearly every corner of California, and the halls of the State Capitol. Maybe that's the problem--Elmets may be down with it, given his diverse list of corporate clients which reads like a Who's Who list of crony Washington DC: labor union cronies, Indian tribes, large corporations, unpopular local tax initiatives, even ironically Phillip Morris and solar companies. I wonder if Elmets' private communications will be found among the Wikileaks DNC emails, which have exposed the depths of the Democratic Party's corruption and racism.

Hillary and DNC-- Left Wing Socialists

There is no question that Trump is preferable to Hillary and the Socialists on the left. The Democratic Party is the party of slavery, Jim Crow, the KKK, abortions on demand, lynchings, and forced interment of Japanese during WWll. They are the real party of the War on Women, with Hillary as their leader. "Hillary Clinton portrays herself as a champion of women in the workforce, but women working for her in the U.S. Senate were paid 72 cents for each dollar paid to men," according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis of her Senate years' salary data. And Hillary's treatment of Bill's indiscreet sexual trysts with women who accused him of sexual assault were destroyed, slandered and shamed by Hillary. That Elmets can't or won't see and acknowledge her real record is striking: Hillary's corruption, her horrific blunders as Secretary of State, her negligibility as a Senator, her disdainful attitude towards securing America's most classified information, her unrelenting lying, and the co-dependency of her sexual-predator husband, allowing him unfettered access to rape and pillage. Oh Doug Elmets, that's one prepared candidate--prepared to turn America into a third world country as she continues to enrich herself. Or is the position of the beltway insider that as long as you're making money, all is well in the world? After I wrote a recent article in which I address Elmets' traitorous behavior, I received this response from him:

Katy- Did you really write this about me? 'Self-aggrandizement is Doug Elmets' business. He believes in promoting Doug Elmets, and long ago disregarded Reagan Republican values. But Elmets knows how to make the news.'

Doug--You and inside-the-beltway conservatives want to turn the presidency over to Hillary Clinton to "save conservatism." Are you kidding? You've got Trump derangement syndrome. How Reaganesque is it supporting Hillary instead of the presumptive Republican nominee? Have you forgotten who Hillary Clinton is? You and beltway conservatives call Trump a "New York liberal." Meanwhile, Hillary, Bernie, Obama, the lefties, and the news media are portraying Trump as a right-wing extremist. He can't be both. It's shocking how frightened so many of you are of American democracy in action, and the will of the common man, dismissed by all of you as an ignorant idiot. There are serious wars going on today: our civilization is at war with radical Islam. Hillary Clinton says that Islam has nothing to do with terrorism. And Hillary willfully violated America's Espionage Act. There is a war on over the future of the American economy--Capitalism or Socialism? What side do you stand on? Or is your position that as long as you are making money, all is well in the world? The progressives are at war on America's Judeo-Christian principles, substituting these with devastating political correctness. To choose the wrong side is unscrupulous. A new Pew poll even shows that Trump supporters are the true conservatives of the Republican Party. "Republicans for Hillary" is either a stunt, or you are a disloyal Republican. Can you substantiate your actions or defend your motives?

I did not hear back from Doug. Elmets and others like him have become so entrenched in and dependent on the establishment, they can't see that the self-appointed political elite in both parties are more interested in preserving their own power and maintaining the status quo is the only way to do that. And in doing so, they are throwing away the American experiment. For more than four decades, the American people have been telling politicians on both sides of the aisle they want less immigration, and they want only legal immigration, but the politicians will not listen. And that's what this election is about. Unless America can stop the hoards of third-world Islamists and illegal aliens from flooding our borders, America is sunk. Donald Trump is the only candidate running as an American; he gets this. Doug Elmets is only selfishly interested in preserving his power and status. Mr. Elmets, it's time to go back and study your old employer's insight, wisdom and level of commitment to the American dream. The Heritage Foundation know this: Americans have kept their republic and built it to be strong, but it will only remain so under constant vigilance.
