Breaking: Huma Abedin no longer interested in Weiner

Huma Abedin has announced that she and Carlos Danger are headed for splitsville. After multiple scandals - in which Abedin stood idly by like the proverbial 1950's housewife - Huma is finally ready to say "enough is enough." As the New York Times reports, the Weiners are separating.
Huma Abedin, the wife of the former Representative Anthony D. Weiner, announced on Monday that the couple were separating in the wake of a report that Mr. Weiner had been involved in another sexting scandal.
Mr. Weiner, who resigned in 2011 after it was revealed he had been sending lewd messages and photos to random women online, apparently deleted his Twitter account on Monday after The New York Post reported that he had exchanged sexual messages with an unidentified woman last year. The initial scandal destroyed his political career and strained his marriage to Ms. Abedin, a top aide to Hillary Clinton. On Monday, Ms. Abedin said in a statement: “After long and painful consideration and work on my marriage, I have made the decision to separate from my husband. Anthony and I remain devoted to doing what is best for our son, who is the light of our life. During this difficult time, I ask for respect for our privacy.”
I have absolutely no doubt that, just on a human level, Abedin is sick and tired of her sleazy husband making her look like a complete idiot. These weren't nebulous or unprovable claims. He's been doing the for years, and he generated both textual and photographic evidence to prove it. She's got to be thrilled to be rid of him. However; I'm equally certain that there was some kind of directive from the Clinton campaign that said, get rid of him or you're all done.

Democrats will accept almost anything, but they're well aware that the American people's tolerance comes to a dead stop once you bring a child into it. Carlos Danger had his second chance and used it to prove that he's nothing but a liability. There's simply no way Abedin would be allowed to stick close to the Clinton machine if she continued to demand Weiner be part of her life. Frankly, it only makes sense. It's obvious that Weiner isn't a person that anyone should be married to and - given the content of his most recent scandalous photo - no one can argue that it's a good idea to 'stay together for the kids.' The only question is: "what took so long?"
