Cleveland, OH- Michael Goldstein has recently been published in American Thinker, describing how the woeful conditions of America's inner cities are primarily due to the unbroken rule by Democrat politicians. The article, The Democrats Own the Ills of the Inner Cities, describes how urban Democrat politicians, enabled by compliant Congressional representatives, have played on constituent fears while not delivering promised improvements.
One of the biggest problems in changing this dynamic is the unwillingness of Republicans to enter the fray, articulate their beliefs, and work for the votes of desperate inner city residents. Twenty-six years of Democrat control of Cleveland's mayor's office and 23 years of Democrat representation in Congress has not resulted in measurable improvement in the various communities that make up Congressional District 11.
