Nowadays the term "left wing governments" englobes "socialist allies" and refers to elitists posing as eco-conscious world transformers, who in fact pollute the planet with wars and poverty. Overtly discriminatory towards their "own" indigenous, poor and homeless, the ruling elites bow to foreign "liabilities" imposing fiscal slavery on citizens viewed as "subjects". The criteria for evaluating developed countries and civilized societies include not only economic development and per-capita income, but sane legal system and respect for individual rights and liberties. By the wave of the leftist wand (often taking the shape of a pen and a phone) the countries which once boasted an advanced technological infrastructure and blooming economy accumulate debts and have more and more impoverished citizens; our speech is supposed to be as "free" as censored by political correctness.
People's displeasure with degradation of their country is being defined as "deep pessimism" and voters who dare to offer support to other than government pre-selected candidates are put into "the basket of deplorables". Obama's monarchic pre-electoral antics put even brighter light on his "Yes, we can! "slogan, where "we " clearly refers to oligarchs (foreign and domestic), not to' 'folks". Worries about fairness of incoming elections are logical results both of the biased propaganda campaign and official decay of the legal system. Our homeless Veterans are being fined for "sleeping in public places" while the most treasonous acts of political VIPs go unpunished by law and are absolved by the mainstream media. Our soldiers are imprisoned in Leavenworth for defending themselves; politicians get to run for president for compromising national security. Human rights, both as an institution and set of international rights serve today only selected communities; the endorsed governments who starve their own citizens are being praised for their dedication to "foreign aid". Entire dynasties of derelict politicians, their friends and friends of fiends swapped places on a fraudulent carousel for decades which resulted in the ongoing merry-go-round trip for a legally dizzy country.

Today, some are overtaxed dissidents; some are ready to become dissidents only if they are personally overtaxed, yet others seem to believe they will never be overtaxed as long as they are not dissidents. Ronald Reagan's question to us is here to stay: "I have seen the rise and fall of Nazi tyranny, the subsequent cold war and the nuclear nightmare that for fifty years haunted the dreams of children everywhere. During that time my generation defeated totalitarianism. As a result, your world is poised for better tomorrows. What will you do on your journey? " John Paul II whom Reagan considered his best friend (See Video Below) considered that "Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought". Well, today we ought to fight for our right to take our freedom back.
