We're not saying he's wrong, either.

Howard Dean appears on MSNBC, has literally NO idea what he's talking about

Usually, when we say "Howard Dean doesn't know what he's talking about," we mean "he's wrong." That happens almost every time he opens his mouth, so it's not really worth sharing. Sometimes, though, when we say "Howard Dean doesn't know what he's talking about," we say it because he literally has no freaking idea what he's talking about. Case in point is his appearance the following appearance on MSNBC, where Dean was asked about newly released documents that contained talk of a "quid pro quo" between the State Department and the FBI. As the Politico reported, Patrick Kennedy wanted to change the classifications of some of Hillary's emailed material in exchange for ...something.
In an exchange that included redacted names, the interview notes state that “[REDACTED] received a call from [REDACTED] of the International Operations Division (IOD) of the FBI, who ‘pressured’ him to change the classified email to unclassified. [REDACTED] indicated he had been contacted by PATRICK KENNEDY, Undersecretary of State, who had asked his assistance in altering the email’s classification in exchange for a ‘quid pro quo.’”
Most people, when they know they're going to do a spot on TV or radio, will brush up on the day’s events. Not so with Howard Dean. He bravely took on the media while maintaining complete ignorance of the facts. Had he simply hadn't admitted he hadn't heard about this story, he would have been fine. Instead, he flailed wildly - simultaneously denying the existence of the documents, calling them a conspiracy theory, and brazenly arguing that the documents that don't exist were generated by Russian hackers. Oh, just for good measure, he claims it's WikiLeaks' fault too. Take it from someone who's done his fair share of interviews. If you don't know something, just admit it. People who try to B.S. their way out of a spot like this always end up looking like...Howard Dean. Frankly, if he'd done this, he might have saved himself...
