So much for her Supreme Court nomination

Hillary surrogate Jennifer Granholm gets election hilariously, breathlessly, disastrously, wrong

In addition to being a top flight Dating Game contestant, Jennifer Granholm has the distinction of being the worst Governor in the history of Michigan. When her gubernatorial tenure was up, she packed her backs and fled for California, where she embarked on a decade-long career of licking all the right boots at DNC headquarters. Over the last five years, she's become something of a professional sycophant. First, she cozied up to the Obama campaign (delivering that insane 2012 convention speech) and then later she became a chief talking head for the Clinton machine. It was in this latter capacity that she was invited to appear on MSNBC, where she was asked to discuss Hillary’s chances in Michigan - a state she knows so, so, well.
She was, shall we say, wired. She was also sure that Hillary had "the Ju Ju" in the Great Lakes State, and was pretty sure it would go Clinton's way. Heck, she was fairly confident that Trump would fail in Ohio and Iowa too. Michigan went for the Republican nominee for the first time since 1988. Every once in a while, in exchange for her subservience, someone would (no doubt with a complete lack of sincerity) mention her as a potential Supreme Court nominee. I'd be willing to bet that ship has now sailed...
